Edit mode - how?

How i move - minimap (Sh+M), dragonride vigor, quest item use? How? Its fixed on screen.

Edit mode is lackluster, even things that you can move never feel at the right place, especially action bars.

Yes you can. It’s under another section. Me and BF has it in different spots. Not sure what section it goes under. You have to make sure you have everything in edit mode activated though, to try figure out which section it goes under. I really can’t remember. I fixed my UI in the prepatch.

EDIT: It’s the “Encounter bar” - activate that in edit mode, and you can move it.

for the mini map it just highlights when i open edit mode and can drag it around freely.

for quest items, they’re usually attached to the quest log on the right side which also can be moved but i’d rather have it on the right side of my screen.

I tried Shift + M and a zone map box showed up, at the bottom of the screen.

To access the mini map to move it, try:
Game Menu
Edit Mode

Your action bars, maps and stuff should all show with a blue haze, so they can be dragged around the screen.

If an action bar is not showing, you can turn them on or off, via Gameplay, Action bars or, if already in HUD Edit Mode simply click, any visible action bar and choose Action Bar Settings at the bottom of the box.

Dragonride Vigor = shows on the Encounter bar

Not sure about quest items, but if you open Edit Mode while they are active, hopefully you can click on the bar and it will say what it is called, or at least drag it where you want and save the new position.

Don’t forget to save any changes, (choose +new layout and give it a new name to avoid overwriting any other settings you wish to keep).
