I am a demo main, and have attempted destro with dismal results. Its mainly havoc im struggling with using properly. I dont find it easy to click on specific targets in a bunch of mobs, or wasting seconds tab targetting to it. And then trying to get back to my orginal target.
I have tried mouseover macros which I also have a high failure rate with using. Like accidentally hitting my primary target.
Am I missing something obvious?
If there are alot of targets (i believe 3+) just havoc the highest HP one and generate shards for rain of fires. You don’t have to target the highest HP one from 7 different targets. Just make sure it isn’t one that will die in a few seconds otherwise you’ll lose value.
If there are “priority” targets, havoc one, cleave with the other one.
2 targets requires no explanation so yeah. Just a tip: if you are playing Necro; spending shards of annihilation buffed incinerates for the havoc window is better than chaos bolts. Just so you know.
As for mouse over macros and what not; i have no idea. I just tab target or select with mouse.
Make a /focus macro and use it on target that won’t get blown up within milliseconds as you’re approaching the pack, then swap to your priority target. When you’re ready, just use this macro. You won’t have to target swap and can just keep blasting.

I just copy pasted it, it’s an old macro. I can’t remember why, there was a reason for it in the past. Just remove that part
