Whilst I get we needed somewhat nerfing. This, for me at least, has ruined Ele as a viable option for end game content. We`ve had our ups and downs but this has affected the play style itself. To stand there either hoping for a proc or waiting for another hard cast, just ruins the fun of the game.

Couldn’t agree more. They should have just fixed the bugs, like ascendance blasting one target instead of spreading etc, then at least give it a week and look at performance.

idk my ele is popping off, feels pretty good even now, strong as hell but a little bit inconsistent at times, the burst is completely insane though

Consistently strong with a lot of insta casts.
Dunno what hero spec you play as, but Storm is popping off.
Do you play with Liquid Magma totem? Cause that and Primal Wave increase the pace A LOT with every pack pull. 30sec cd means that you have it up every pull giving you a 22% haste buff.
I am currently keeping up with a better geared arcane mage in higher m+ keys (9’s and 10’s) without big problems.

Stopped playing my main(ele shaman) due to this. I don’t care if the spec is still strong… If it’s boring me to tears I won’t play it. I loved the old spec.

Once it gets going it keeps on going.
Instant casts into instant casts.
You can always press an Icefury or enhanced frost shock or an instant lava burst or an earthshock or instant cast lightning bolt/chain lightning.
The only thing, that I keep finding myself HAVING to hardcast is a lightning bolt/chain lightning sometimes and the occasional Tempest.
