Hey guys,
As I don’t have much to do in DF atm, I decided to level my alts to 70. I had no probs with warriors, paladin, priest, death knight, rouge. But then I started on my ele shaman and, for the love of N’Zoth!, that was a handful! Could you share how you play this class so the damage is good? Even with the 385 stuff send from my main and overall iLvl of 368 he is not as good as aforementioned classes.

Check out some guides, most will advise you use fire for both ST and AoE.
Fire build ST is just chugging as many LvB as possible. Fairly simple actually.
Fire build AoE, well… use flamesclhock on first mob, primordial on second, then lava totem (the. Reset lava totem) then either stormkeeper (pref precast it already) then LvB hope for ascendancy, then earthquake and LVB, change targets to refresh FS (u can use it after EQ so you get 2 flameshocks) use chain lightning if you have nothing else to cast.
Edit: always cast lava beam when ascendancy proccs

Elemental can be tricky in this expansion. As Snowtides said check out some guides, there are many good ones on Wowhead and Naesam got some good ones on Youtube aswell. I read on Wowhead that 10.1 Tier set gonna change playstyle to lightening side so you might find it more enjoyable.
I’d recommend trying out the addons hero rotation or hekili. They are awesome at helping you to optimise your rotation.
Also elemental shaman is and has always been a glass cannon. For some reason blizz have never bothered to fix our survivability.
They’re awful and create bad habits.
Lime drinking and smoking 
Problem with elemental shaman is that the rotation is sometimes clunky and it requires too much coordination to master it, while some classes do the same damage with fewer/less complicated rotations. The damage is there, if youre solo it should be fine, but in m+ or raids its too much of a hassle to reach same numbers as the rest.
