Elemental lariat - insribed illumined diamond - hot question

So here is the hot question discussed to the point of nowhere, but I still don’t get it

So elemental lariat does not proc “inscribed illuminted diamond” because it’s not one of “elemental” types. BUT what gems do I actually put into the lariat, am I supposed to put all three as elemental then to maximise utility?

Or it doesn’t matter, since it only procs one of the gems anyway, and one of them is “inscribed illimited diamond” and the other two are elemental, so you still get full utility from the neck?

I don’t if im phrasing the question

TL DR

should I put 3 elemental gems into lariat or its ok to have 1 “inscribed illumined diamond” to maximise utility of neck?

I would think the forums are exactly the correct place to ask questions. It’s the actual purpose of the forums. Not just to create threads for complaints.

You can put the 3 elemental gems in the larariat if you want and then put your inscribed diamond into another gem slot on another piece if you like. Assuming ofc you have a piece or purchased the item to insert a slot from the vendor next to the vault.

Larariat proc uptime is extended by the number of gems you have up to a max of 8/9 elemental gems if I remember. But getting that many gem slots is shear rng or sacrafice gear from the vault.
