Elemental Shaman covenant

Hello there guys I am kinda new to shaman , and I would like to hear your opinion on current covenants for Elemental. I am going to primarly focus on M+ and RatedBG´s. It would be awesome If someone can explain to me which covenant are most viable for this kind stuff and why. Thank you for your time and responds.

If u gonna pvp, then necrolord. Hands down.

PvE - Night fae or Necrolord

PvP - Necrolord

So in your case I’d say Necrolord would be the best.

Necrolord is the way. The covenant gives you extra shielding and a strong aoe and single target ability.

Thank you guys for tips

I would say Necrolord if that’s what you want to do. It just has such good synergy with the Elemental spec. It’s really fun, really strong and flows well.

You’ll probably hear some shamans going Night Fae recently but it seems many want to go back to Necrolord (like Barokoshama).

If Night Fae is good it’s rather the move for R Shaman as you get more benefits for it. Necrolords is no doubts the best for PvP and very good in PvE. For PvE Kyrian and Venthyr can be also a good choice.

How about Koryan’s new traits for M+ ele sham in 9.1.? 5% flat execute buff seems really good instead of 3% overtime on Heirmir. It’s true Heirmir gets quite a nice mastery buff (but mastery on shaman, meh - for me its 60% value of haste or crit), but followed by another defensive trait which of we already run 2. Koryan allows 2nd finesse conduit (for capacitator totem cd reduction for example) and 3% leech on top of that (which is not huge, but its something).

What are your thoughts about best M+ soulbind? Will we see some NL->NF shifting?

Korayan is already the best M+ soulbind thanks to First Strike.

I won’t comment on 9.1 yet cuz things will most likely still change during the PTR cycle.
