absolutely is in terms of dmg that actually kills someone. sustain dmg might not be super bad but it doesn’t kill anyone. wolves and flame shock spread pat the dmg quite a lot which actually does nothing. I mean i can crit for 20k with chain harvest which is 1.5min cd while every other class can do that maybe every 5 seconds with a random ability (e.g. rampage, evi, dispatch etc.)
my stormstrike hits for measingly 5-7k maybe 10k with dbl stormwolf :confused:

every single melee would just wipe the floor with us with their burst dmg.
Only time i feel like i am actually doing dmg if i would play doom winds or get a ele blast crit (which happens once every 2 mins with 10% crit :/)

only way you would win is due to utility/sustainability

I mean even the professionals, when playing turbo, dampen the heck out of everyone and wait till healer got no mana because they dont have dmg to take anyone down.
also makes sense because nobody plays dmg build on enhance

yes this iteration definitely has no absorb and no stun, but it doesn’t show the HP value. Could have 5 hp could have 40k if I see it correctly.

7k mainhand, but you also hit with offhand ontop. i mean i play enhance myself and i can see that it pumps good consistantly and with wolfes and stormbringer you can shred down hp. ofc you dont oneshot ppl like ret but enhance would be broken if hed do that ontop of its sustain.

i see enhance dmg as completly fine in its current state. just cause some classes are broken doesnt mean that others are bad. Just bing the others back in line.

if you watch the awc or any high rated gameplay. every comp lasts way longer there cause everyone plays on survival/damp. When you trade cds correcly all the times, no comb scores kills till healers are done on mana.

longer yes, but most games ended before high damp, except turbo (unless the shaman got deleted as per usual)

you can compare it to any melee. All of them have high dmg abilities / burst while enhance has none except chain harvest. There are builds that have some high hitters but are effectively unplayable (mastery ele blast build / doom winds) if enemy has any addon installed ;|
sustain dmg especially in BGs is so useless and if you have good sustain dmg it should come with tankiness so that you actually can SUSTAIN your dmg over some time, but yet enhance is the most squishy class that exist

definitely felt a lot better in legion and a lot a lot better in wotlk when we didn’t have that stupid storm strike reset garbage and forceful winds "(

while i play haste versa with wolfes leggo and ele blast i do good mostly. And against anything with demo i play with the harvest build for our team to stay offensive.

And with wolfes out stormbringer chains into ele blast harvest i can finish off many things.

personally see it in a solid spot. Just dont face to face tunnel melee oponents in 1v1 cause enhance isnt designed for that else every melee would be the same

Well yes but I’d still like Frostbrand and Rockbitter back just for extra utility. Anyway talents look promissing.

frostbrand definetly, id also see earthshock with melee speed reduction but well, the tree is more than i actually expected.

I enjoy my shaman, in terms of Lava Burst having the unexpected in Surges, Its nice and quick with a good paced build and spend.

But what ive always been disappointed with, is cooldowns. The spec has 1 actual cd which you control and at the moment its not great, its too focused on one spell.

Fire Elemental and Storm Elemental are great as they are super strong, but it doesnt feel like a cooldown anymore, as right now in Live, we just press the button and it does most of your damage.

And Ascendance the one actual cooldown, really i feel needs a rebuild, as having just focus on fire only, doesnt make it feel like an elemental cooldown, just a fire cooldown.

Should change all your main spells, Lava Burst, Chain Lightning and Lightning Bolt, make it a real overall cooldown, something then can would really interact in Dragonflight if you decide to go down a fire or lightning build.

The player doing the damage is the main thing that needs addressing, as primal elementist is far too strong and your dmg too weak when your elemental is not up, right now.

and i cant see builds in dragonflight being much different to now, either storm elemental+primal, or fire+primal.
