On this phase season with gear elemental have soo small dmg in arenas, i know we have RNG proc of lava, but its 7% RNG and without proc, dmg outup is low
For me i prefer bigger sustain DMG without DRE procs with RNG…
Yes assa needs huge dmg buffs too and warlocks need more stamina buff too

elemental currently represents it’s class dps role in arena, which is a big burden, so the damage buff seems only fair
also moonkin damage may be tuned down to buff elemental’s numbers indirectly, just a nice touch
Elemental cant survive longer arena, (solo is full of very bad healers, they have 15-20k hps but all damagers have 30k+ dps and sometime broken spec like rog, DK, feral or retribution attack 50k dps… soo arenas end very fast when is ele target
and DPS outup without RNG proc is weak, for pure DPS class withou any deffs or utility is not good state now
i agree RNG proc of talent DRE is broken in some situation, but overall DMG is just low

I agree buff ele survival take away 1 shot stuff and buff sustain.

Overall damage of Ele is far from low, it’s one of the highest sustain specs right now. In addition, you cannot stop it at all by training them, since it’s all just multi-dotting and instant procs. Every Ele I face does the same damage numbers you listed, while running in circles around the arena 24/7 and spamming instants.
Ele isn’t a pure DPS class though, it’s a hybrid. It’s just that the offheals don’t really do anything right now. Their utility is very good (vs. Casters it’s god-tier) with Shear, Grounding, Tremor, Root, Knock, Lasso, Hex. What more do you want?
Nerfing damage output while buffing offheals seems like a good idea imo.

Overall damage of ele is just low? What are you smoking dude lol, ele should be top damage every game except maybe if they get trained by 2 mellees and there’s another caster doing whatever he wants in your team
They are even than top dmg zeeby did 8m while beeing trained and after that awc match he was top deeps
There are like 3 S class specs now in arenas.
Sin rogue, Destro lock and…you guessed it Ele shaman.
Ele can spend the whole round with 2 melee on him and still put out most damage somehow.
If you’re having issues i guarantee it’s a skill problem. I imagine you rerolled to ele after seeing how strong they were after your other fotm got nerfed, but can’t faceroll as effectively.
Also what will happen now is Ele’s will start to face more destros, and begin to complain they’re underpowered as destros begin to murder them. Meanwhile all us sub S class specs pray for shuffles without either of those classes in them.
Yes because melees are having the most mobility in wow history with uptime of 90%+ , what should casters do? cast? ofc they got instants
If your healer or purgers doesn’t know sht and dont purge earth shield and other buffs (p.wave) and dont dispel flame shocks at all y Ele will top dmg even when trained 'cuz all of his gcds will be spent on damage.
The spec is shining out simply due to Asc. procs. You want it gone? Cool. Make Lava Burst hit flat 40-45k then.
Oh and; Dest is high A+. With Assa in game, esp. with mind numbing, Dest is never S tier.
Unless you dont purge the backdrafts like a 1300 pleb then you deserve to be bolted to otherside of the universe.
There’s constantly buffs on elemental that needs to be dispelled, either it’s better to put Elemental on focus and dispel time to time procs when they appear a top of Ele shaman. Similar case with Enhancement shaman as Elemental Blast can be purged.
