I strongly believe that the Storm side of elemental shaman needs alot of reworking, and tweaking, im going to ramble and possibly overexplain and it will probably be hard to read (apologies in advance). If i wrote them into tooltips it would be far easier to read but u would not get a proper understanding of how id want some of them to work im also going to try keep balance in mind.

TL;DR, make Ice fury replace Frost shock put it on a short cooldown and buff it abit.
Explanation, Doesnât feel fun to cast, increases bloat, and its passives are wasted potential, those 2 nodes need a rework or they need removed and replaced with something storm based imo. One potential suggestion could be it replaced frost shock with âIce furyâ so its an instant spell with a cooldown that slows enemies and buffs spells, ofc it would no longer buff frost shock since it would become frost shock so it could become; an instant that deals 225% dmg on a 6-8s cooldown generating around 20 maelstrom itself. Reducing button bloat for a powerful instant cast that would be easily weaved into rotations for maelstrom.

TL;DR, make it instant or a passive please.
Explanation, As the next offender this feels sooo fun to use but not fun to press, 1.5 second cast time almost 3 seconds of downtime feels really bad to press, why is this not an instant yet, (elemental shaman isnt the strongest dps and feels like it would be a simple change) it would unironically increase dps by the tinest of margins by reducing downtime, please make it an instant. Optionally you could make it a choice node, the other choice is a passive âStormkeeperâ lets call it âBlessed by the stormâ, that when you use 30 lightning bolts and chain lightnings or lets say nature spells in general, you get 2 stacks of âStormkeeperâ. again a good possible option for reducing button bloat.
Elemental Equilibrium
TL;DR, remove the frost requirement please.
Explanation, Personally i think frost shouldnât be a requirement to proc this passive, it should only require fire and nature or elemental blast to proc.

TL;DR, make it a 1 point node make earth shock cast earthquake at 50% effectiveness and make elemental blast instant (but maybe not proc earthquake).
Explanation, Another passive im not a fan of that i think needs a rework or changed personally, make it a 1 point node;
your earth shock summons an earthquake at target location at 50% increased power but it cannot knock enemies down and your Elemental blast becomes instant (another possible suggestion is it benefit from nature fire and frost bonus damage in the elemental talent tree but this could be abit too strong if it doesnt already not to mention elemental blast being instant on elemental shaman already seems like quite a big damage increase in my opinion and ive always felt like elemental blast should have replaced lavaburst personally like how it is on enhancement but this seems like the next best thing.)
the Final Storm node⌠and the hero talent lightning rod;
TL;DR, Rework or change the final storm talent point into something more meaningful/useful like a cool new ability or passive ive suggested somethings.
Ramble; with the war withing coming out im going to discuss 2 issues i have which correspond with each other, first enhancement shamans get lightning rod for free but elemental shamans are required to spec into it, i dont feel like this is right for 2 reasons 1 lightning rod is very underwhelming and 2 elemental shamans should also get it for free in the hero talents especially when u consider enhancement can instant cast tempest by spending resources which they would probably use to cast lightning bolt at some point anyway, on the off chance tempest will apply lightning rod to everything it hits then it might be a winner but im hesitant to believe that will happen, we will have to wait till its working.
Explanation; I would like to see the final point of the storm tree changed to a better ability or passive, something like Balled lightning or lightning vortex lets call it âLightning Stormâ since both those descriptions could fit into this ability, you could make a passive equivalent. First lets focus on the spell suggestion you summon or large ball of lightning or a vortex causing damage to targets in the area (this could either be summoned at the target area or it moves to the target area like frozen orb). deals more damage if thereâs only 1 target if there are multiple targets the storm will chain lightning multiple targetâs (storms chain lightning dont interact with the talent tree the storm itself will though, also if theres only 1 target it will deal like 300% dmg if theres multiple targets it will reduce its overall strength to like 100%-150% something like that, storm lasts 8-10seconds on a 3-5minute cooldown which ofcourse benefits from âflash of lightningâ.
The idea for the passive version was thought up while writing this more of a minigame so its very rough, u deal nature damage to a target it fires out a storm orb it has a 1-2 second internal cooldown can only drop 1 at a time u pick up the orb it gives u 4 seconds of 3-4 seconds of spiritwalkers grace enough to keep casting and pick up the next one cannot exeed 3-4 seconds when u have enough orbs your next spender will also storm the target location (i imagine the amount of orbs required for this would be probably the amount of spells required to reduce the time of the original storm spell so lets say 40 spells not including overload procs probably like 25-30 orbs at 2second internal cooldown (super rough estimate

Final point could be ASCENDANCE; STORM LORD you embody pure lightning by shedding your mortal husk to become a pure storm elemental,
Tool tip would be something like;
Instant - - - 5minute cooldown (because of flash of lightning)
Transform into a storm lord for 15s casting lightning bolt casts chain lightning and casting chain lightning will overload chain lightning.
(Explanation; specifically casting lightning bolt will not guarantee the chain lightning overload like casting chain lightning will)
Transforming into the storm lord will chain lightning all targets with flame shock on them and it will turn all flame shocks into static discharge and refresh their duration to 18s
Static discharge, will deal damage like flame shock would however because it no longer procs lavablast instant charges it generates 1 maelstrom each time it pulses, so it works similar to searing flames for fire shamans.
