Hey all, I’m currently leveling through panda land and for some reason I seem to be having my backside handed to me. I don’t die I just seem to be taking alot of damage a mob of 3 can easily knock my life to about 40% is this the norm?.
Im just worried I’m doing somthing wrong.

Probably you’re not doing anything wrong. Just lvled my shadowpriest, that was pretty bad. Little to no escape. No survivability, the shield is gone almost faster than the gcd it takes to cast with a mob of 3. Some classes just are like that I think. lvling is heavily biased in favor tank specs.
It can definitely be a bit rough to level as elemental. You have to kite and cc to make sure multiple mobs aren’t hitting you at the same time.
Otherwise you will be forced to spend alot of mana healing yourself.
And make sure you use your earth elemental as a tank when things get hairy.
Compared to my druid, my mage, my paladin, my monk, my rogue and my priest, the leveling of my shaman between 110 to 120 was the most difficult… Even with kites, cc, self healing and all I could do, I died a lot of times. Spells were very slow, lack of mobility it was getting worst approaching 120 and then, I had to wait until having a decent stuff before enjoying playing it again
I think with ele as much as possible you have to pull packs of 5 to max ms generation with CL. Round 'em up, lava totem, stun totem, CL EQ, next pack try to put a couple fs an pop FE to help generate ms, when EQ is ready stun eq. Out of cds? Earth ele. need to heal? Thunderstorm heal.
Rince and repeat.
Might be good to activate warmode to get spirit wolf or healing surge buff.
edit: ES might be better to face tank. Aftershock might be better for questing too, not sure totems provide enough ms on short fights.
Thanks for the tips and advice folks I really appreciate it. Yesterday I decided to try out enhancement on this toon… Omg I did not realise how bad enhancement had got 
I struggled more with enhancement then I did with elemental which to be honest kinda surprised me.
Let’s hope 8.1.5 improves enhancement but for now I think I’ll stick with elemental, I might even switch my other shaman to ele until enhancement is in a better place.
I remember levelling as elememtal pressing flame shock, frost shock and only casting lava burst procs, half the time and kiting mobs around and putting earth binds down occasionally leading into a cap totem. Sometimes even hexxing if there were quite a few. I tried not to let a enemy hit me if I could.
I’d use earth ele on really big pull packs and aoe em down. Could always take earth shield as well, if you already havn’t?
