Elementary School , founded 27/07/2021, is a newly formed mythic raiding guild pushing for hall of fame with a light schedule. The core was initially part of a different top 500 guild on Draenor, but split up due to having different ambitions. Through the quality of our core and top 50 experienced leadership, we hope to set ourselves up this tier to achieve famed slayer next tier.
Cornerstones
→ Research: We expect all members to research their class within the contemporary raid content. This means understanding what setup to play and how your class interacts with the raid environment.
→ Problem solving: Every single member in Elementary School should be fixated on participating in the problem solving-process. When we make mistakes, and we will, you should be able to own up to the part you play and understand how to fix it, by yourself or with the help of your teammates.
→ Vibes: Reading the room is important. Joking around during reclears or parts of fights that everyone truely understands makes the game more enjoyable to play. At the same time if we reach a crossroads it is important to change that atmosphere towards achieving optimal progression. You may experience some edgy friendly banter in this guild.
→ Contribution: Everyone plays their part. This means boosting to stack up the guild bank, doing your weekly keys and contributing to strategy innovation during progression. If you are a balance druid (first of all cringe) and your cooldowns have zero value due to the way we deal with the fight, speak up, give your input, everyone’s perspective is important towards achieving efficient progression, even if on the bench due to another class being better on a fight.
→ Equity: We all have the same goal, put in the same amount of effort, but understand if someone’s temporary situation doesn’t allow them to. If a player on the team is sick or struggles with sudden in real life events, we don’t exclude them, instead we figure out how we can keep them up to speed until the problem is resolved.
Requirements
→ One maintained alt aside your main for split runs. Your main should be fully caught up with current content, the alt is only expected to have up to date gear.
→ PTR testing new raid content: not to cosplay Limit Maximum, but to get a first practical feel of the fights and mechanics, in order to save time on the live servers.
→ High attendance so we can maintain a small roster.
→ Not being self-centered about loot or rotations.
