Elf druid Horde!

Will Blizzard ever introduce blood elf druids? Or some elf race for the Horde that is druid? I’ve seen in RPG that there are druids blood elf.

BLOOD ELVES DRUIDs exist in Botanica if i am not wrong so i see no reason blood elves not being druids already.

High Botanist Freywinn seems to be the only exception of the current druid races.
Even he might just be using strange magic or alchemy (turn into a treant and cast tranquility) that comes close to druid spells but not actually is that

not good idea, blood elfs are already the most played race in horde, and giving it the option to be druid, other races going to extinct

They had already f’cked it up when they allowed nerves to be mages. Belf druids, though nothing but yet another joke in itself, won’t make things any worse…

Blood elves are pretty detached from the natural world; they look to shape it to their vision, or exploit its resources, rather than accept it for what it is. Really not suited for druids :slight_smile:

Not that I would object to any race being allowed to be any class, it’s just that some really don’t fit well.

The RPG is non-canon and Blood Elves have little to no connection to nature. The NPC from the Botanica was never really confirmed as a druid, just had nature/treant inspired abilities.

Magisters yes, rangers no. There’s a quest in Eversong Woods where a blood elf ranger talks about living and working side by side with trents and even calls one of them friend.

I would love to see blood elf druids, because I think it could be a good evolution for their story, not because of whom they were. Not only for mending their relationship with the trents, but also as a means to heal the Ghostlands. The Plaguelands have began to heal because they are attended by druids. The Ghostlands however and still corrupted. This shows that the new light powers of the sunwell aren’t enough to clean the land. While druidism has help clean other lands affected by the scourge.

So this is not a matter of who they are or what they want. It’s a reality, if they want to recover their lands, druidism seems much better bet then holy or arcane magics, and blood elves are nothing if not pragmatic. And let’s face it, it is a form of magic, they would certainly enjoy mastering it. It’s not like it would be a sacrifice.

The Horde already have more races that can be druids than the Alliance do. I think you can wait for a little while :slight_smile:

Can you imagine the levels of pure absurdity?

Then again though, we have Zandalari troll paladins so I don’t really care anymore.

After Sunwalkers were introduced, I honestly stopped caring about what race/class combinations there are.
