Elune cutscene spoiler

After mellowing out a bit at that cinematic, i’ve come to this conclusion myself too. It was less that Elune purposely did it because she loved Sylvanas or something idk w/e these inane theories have become, and more that she was trying to make it more easy and bearable.

Her quotes: “In the wake of tragedy…” and the book wording around letting the lost Night Elves ‘sleep’ is supportive of this idea.

Not every deific being needs to be this super-saiyan god/goddess supreme capable of one-shotting everything within a 100 mile radius just by blinking

That’s what I enjoy about Blizzard’s take on this whole cosmic lore. There being plenty of flawed “gods”, caring about their own agendas. Fighting for power. Messing with mortals. Not being the one and only all-mighty maker of all things.
Even the lore retconns remind me of anicent mythologies - Egyptians and Romans had to constantly squeeze new gods into established story whenever their empires grew and assimilated new cultures.

It’s too late to re-embrace our racial and cultural heritage?
I mean… High Elves are the descendants of the Highborne Kaldorei… who are in turn evolved/changed Trolls… so…
I’m just saying, having a little Bwonsamdi shrine in your home wouldn’t hurt?
I mean its not illegal to worship a Loa in the Alliance… is it?
“Our” gods are not the best to be honest… the Light, the Naaru, Elune, Ancient Guardians… can’t really hold a candle to the Loa pantheon of the Trolls
Soo…

Who’s that? Nathanos?

He’s not a Forsaken general. He’s not a Forsaken, period, because not everyone who is Undead is Forsaken.

Nathanos is Sylvanas’s boyfriend, pet, toy, servant, whatever. He serves her personally, not Forsaken. If he was Forsaken he wouldn’t have go and off himself via PC/Tyrande while preaching about Sylvanas.

You should probably check the lore better.
