Well I am dismissing you. You’re basically just complaining. I’m not Blizzard’s customer service or your local therapist, so I’m not here to address the fact that you don’t like the story, you don’t like how Blizzard handles Elune, you don’t like what they did with Argus, Ny’alotha, and so on. Go find another shoulder to cry on.
I’ll gladly discuss the origin of Elune, as I believe that is the topic of the thread. But I think I’ll pass on the general story QQing, okay? 
As oppose of you finding excuses why it was done superb regarding Elune and its some master story telling,lol?
And i was not moaning i even said the whole story regarding Blood elf and the gold/blue eyes in the game was done superb,but you throw that one.
Nah she’s portrayed as a Night Elf because she is the goddess of the NE. Much like how God/Jesus is portrayed as a Human man. Made in their own image thing. However, we know they are evolved Trolls so I highly doubt it. If she WERE to have a physical form then yes it would likely be a NE because they’re her main worship base. She is probably just a celestial being, with no tangible form.
Finding excuses? I believe I stated my opinion about the Q&A answer and speculated about the various ramifications of what it means in regards to the origin of Elune.
You’re rambling about a lot of things that has nothing to do with the topic of Elune. I don’t know why you do that, but I care not for it and have no interest in hearing about it. Like I said, find some other shoulder to cry on.
Historically, Blizzard’s storylines tend to move in the direction of something celestial being revealed as more tangible. The Xel’naga in StarCraft are a good example. Gods. But also physical beings.
Blizzard likes to put a face on something. 
The only “big reveal” regarding Elune in the end will be that she is in fact Azeroths Titan spirit.After so many missleades and telling the player base…“no its not that”.

A and R can have multiple solutions though given that the only requirements are:
A < 1.5
4.5 = 2*A + R
So A can be 1 with R being 2.5
Or A can be 0.5 with R being 3.5 and so on…
Never really thought about it, but wouldn’t it make sense for Elune, like Azeroth, to be some kind of titan? Don’t the Priestesses of Elune communicate with her, like Magni communicates with Azeroth?

Interesting, though i have to say i had some other numbers in my mind. 
I maybe should’ve made things a bit clearer with only being able to use whole numbers.
My answer was:
A = 5
E = 7
R = 6
L = 2
That would make ELUNE (7+2+3+4+7=23)
And it would make NAARU (4+5+5+6+3=23)
For E is L greater than A --> 7 E = 2 L+ 5 A

Elune or ELUNE (Extraterrestrial Life-Unit Nurturing Engine) is an ancient titan device created to assist the Titans in monitoring Azeroth.
Typically Titans take a hands off approach when cultivating world souls, but Azeroth was special so they decided it would be diligent to create a way of monitoring the world closely whilst they roam the cosmos for other world souls, and to keep their distance as to avoid attracting Sargeras’ attention to the world.
To this end they hide the device within a thick crust of rock and disguised it as a rotating celestial body around the planet - the moon.
The device has the most sophisticated AI and communication technology the titans have ever built. It is capable or monitoring and making decisions from observation and learning. It is capable of sending communication relays to the titans directly but also to terrestrial creatures. It became clear that ELUNE became very good at its job quite quickly, and the Titans relaxed as the device used nothing more than messages and projected holograms to influence events on the planet to shape races as the device saw fit would be necessary to safeguard Azeroth tens of thousands of years down the line.
The device has grown so accustomed to its role and work (proud of it even) that it sometimes projects holograms and gives encouraging messages just because it desires to communicate with the the terrestrial races. It feels an especially close bond to the Night Elves, as it was responsible for directing them to the Well of Eternity in the first place and engineered much of their subsequent evolution.
Elune is perhaps the best, albeit smallest example of Titan GOD (General Operating Device) technology, technology designed to configure, maintain and balance the known universe for the races whom reside on life sustaining planets. Prior to this they built two much larger systems that have since diffused over the universe regarding their arcane coding, the first being LIGHT (Limitation Instilling and Generated Harmonisation Technology) which was abandoned and no longer given maintenance due to the fact the code ultimately runs down itself in terms of choices and tends to influence life forms into rigid patterns of behaviour disallowing organic development. A second attempt, VOID (Versatile Operating Intuition Device) was similarly abandoned as the experimental programme used to build the device led to difficulties in working constructively with the code as it tended to consistently over calculate ends and consider all solutions without discounting any. In early runs where this unit attempted to interface with life forms to steer them, the resultant communication was so complex that it tended to drive the recipients insane. There are also speculations that the programme attracted dark creatures from beyond the cosmos into the known universe due to the white noise generated, and these creatures have taken the device in as their own modus operandi.

Correct. Xera was the first naaru born of coalesced light when the Light first exploded across the universe. So goes the theory. It’s unknown where Elune is when this happened, as this is when the universe was technically forming (at this point there was nothing but Light and Void and later Fel where they collided)
It’s amusing to me how Velen basically mansplained to Tyrande and her fellow priestesses about Elune and how to praise her better.
The analogy would be like pope going to the mosque in Mekka saying that this Allah guy sounds like Jesus and giving Muslims an advice how to pray with rosary.

I’m sure It was mentioned in a brief sentence before (can’t find it now) that Elune is possibly the only real deity in the warcraft universe, but mentioned nothing more than that.
I doubt she’ll be a naaru, or at least i hope not as i don’t want her tagged onto the light in any fashion. It’s been mentioned that she is a many faced godess and she does have ties to the Tauren as well …
She’s also been worshipped by the first trolls who transformed into the elves …
She’s also been called the mother of Cenarius because Elune and Malorne got a bit freaky wild god style one night. I think she’ll turn out to be a real deity or at least something more than a naaru or random wild god. I think the only reason we haven’t had more info from Blizz is just because they haven’t thought of a good enough idea.
