I remember day where we were discussing what she actually is~ but Ask CDev answered it some time ago. Why its not common knowledge at this point?

A) See the final answer in Ask Creative Development, Round 2. [Velen] has been a prophet of the naaru for many thousands of years, and it’s unlikely that he would propose such a theory without significant evidence and consideration.
Nah Elune is not a Naaru. It’s a Nigh Elf just google it you will see some images of Elune.
Quoting the Wowpedia :

Well it’s a trick answer. They’re not saying she’s a Naaru. They’re saying that Velen proposes she is. And Velen, unlike Blizzard, isn’t all-knowing when it comes to the Warcraft universe. That’s why he gets to answer the question and not Blizzard.
So it’s a non-answer, because Blizzard likes to keep their secrets.
I suppose what you can take from it is that there’s perhaps some connection or similarity between the Naaru and Elune, if Velen is right.
Whether that means Elune is a Naaru, or the creator or offspring of the Naaru, or another being of The Light, or that she isn’t an entity at all and that everything regarding the Night Elves’ worship of Elune is something they attribute to the wrong origin, or whatever.
haha gave me a good laugh.Blizzard does not know what to do with the lore in there game.We dont even have a 2-3 expansion ever lasting arc anymore.(pls dont come back with Sylvanas to me)…They are redconing every expansion the game and books…its a complete mess.
Eh? I think they just didn’t want to reveal the origin of a mysterious character in a Q&A as opposed to having it be part of an actual storyline, because you know, that’s the whole point of telling a story!
I mean, imagine the following: “Hey Mr. Author! I hear you’re writing a new crime novel. Do you mind telling me right now who the murderer is? Because I’m curious.”
The answer is obviously no.
Blizzard, instead of just saying no, gives an answer that feeds the desire to speculate that they know the Lore-savvy community enjoys. It’s a good answer.
P.S: The Lore Q&A from which the question is from was back in Cataclysm, so it’s rather old news. This is hardly a “Ha! Gotcha! Lore has turned stoopid”-moment.
Yes if Mr.Author wrote 3 crime novels before the said in the series and the fan was asks for a hint for the 4. in line.
I watched the recent Q&A with Taliesen,and i dont know,feels like they are reseting the whole lore of Warcraft.Dont know what to think about that…same as with Shadowlands i would like the fact if we lost all the power and we where being back to the “regular adventurer”.
I do love the fact they are also telling the story as time progress when it comes to BE and gave us blue eyes(something that matters alot to me) as part of the whole recovery of Blood elf race.
And in Blizzard’s case, they’ve given hints about Elune.
If you don’t like to watch the story progress episode by episode, then come back in a few years and you can buy the whole series on Blu-ray and binge-watch the entire thing over a weekend.
I don’t know what this has to do with this topic of Elune or what I’ve said in regards to Elune or Blizzard’s Q&A question in Cataclysm about Elune.
Thats quite dismissive and awful advice.They are baiting with her but the problem in the end will be like with Argus,Nyloth underwheling,now they are baiting with Titan homeworld…what the hell is that,they are planet size creatures.
