i cant simply find elvui for imac nor instructions on how to use it any help would be appreciated
The ElvUI client, or the ElvUI addon? The addon is the same on Mac as anywhere else. The client is not available for mac though, so you’ll have to find something else to update it with.

ElvUI, the addon, is a piece of code you download, either via an application, or from your browser, extract it into your Addons folder, and the game recognises it as an addon.
The ElvUI client is a helper application that helps you keep your addons updated. It’s a program you run on your computer, not something you let WoW run.

Last time i used elv ui it asked me a few questions about units frames where to move the bars etc as far as i understand i can do those with the elv ui addon right?
