Ember court stuck: No guests to invite

Hi,

So i have been doing Ember Court every week since release. However, this week it is not possible for me to do it.

The guest list shows Choofa and Grandmaster Vole as people Prince Renathal wants me to invite. However, neither of them have quests to earn their RSVPs like in previous weeks.

Lady Ilinca sells RSVPs for both of them at friendly reputation. However, i am at 2850/3000 reputation (neutral towards friendly) so i can not buy them.

As such, i can not start this weeks Ember Court scenario (gives the error message: “At least one guest must RSVP before you open court”).

There are to my knowledge nowhere to earn Ember Court reputation than in the Ember Court scenario itself aside from the restocking quests which i have done. And as such the problem loops around itself.

TL;DR: My Ember Court is stuck with no solution to fix it.

Update after this weeks reset:

  • The guest list is still empty
  • There are still no RSVP quests on the map
  • My reputation is still 150 points from friendly at which point i could buy the RSVPs needed
  • There are no new restocking quests to improve my reputation
  • Quest status remains the same as before the reset, with an Ember Court waiting to be opened, but unable to be opened since there are no guests

Conclusion:
My Ember Court status is still stuck, and by the looks of it, it will continue to be regardless of weekly resets.

This issue needs an urgent fix.

If you believe you’ve found a bug, please Report it via the usual bug reporting channels. We’re unable to assist with bug reports on the Customer Support forums.

However it’s also worth opening a ticket so this can be checked further if it’s preventing you from progressing.

I have submitted an in-game bug report of the issue, with a link to this thread as well for detailed information (as the 500 chars in the bug report did not suffice for full details).

In case anyone else have been having these issues, i found a not so apparent solution to the problem.

The temporary solution was to go back to Lord Garridan and keep revoking invitations until NPCs you have previously done RSVP quests with was suggested. These will then once again show up correctly with their relevant RSVP quests on the world map and the scenario can be progressed.

The real bugfix however, would ofcourse be that Lord Garridans list can not choose from invalid guests - in my case 2 NPCs i did not have the Ember Court reputation for yet, and i do sincerely hope that Blizzard fixes this.
