I was thinking that many of social application and on web got emoji.
Even Heroes of the Storm can use Emoji while in game.
What did you think of Emoji in World of Warcraft ?
Can be a super cool feature for shadowland

You just gave me flashbacks to runescape with the skulls and the squiggly animated rainbow text.
A few people in my classic guild have the twitch emote addon and it is enough seeing all the pepegas and the kappas and whatever else in text form.

i like you Destrarïon, but god forbid blizzard ever implements an emoji options in chats. 
You can use some of the emoji if you addon like Elvui. I m sure there will few addons which allow us to do that.

Ok then…
Not quite emojis but the twitch emotes add-on let’s you do various reaction in chat. Only people with the add-on can see them.
Literally disabled it the first time I saw it.
