Emotes not working

Hello,

I am reaching out regarding a persistent issue with my character Lawen on the server Argent Dawn. For over a year, I have been unable to perform specific emotes such as /dance, /sniff, and /growl.

This issue is not caused by my game installation or local configuration, as I have already performed the following troubleshooting steps:

• Performed a complete reset of both my WTF and Interface folders.

• Performed a clean installation of the game.

• Verified that basic emotes like /wave and /laugh work correctly on Lawen.

Furthermore, I have tested other characters on the same account and server (including another Druid), and all emotes function perfectly on them.

This confirms that the issue is strictly isolated to my character Lawen and likely stems from a corrupted “state” or persistent flag on the server-side. The problem appears to be progressive, as more emotes have recently started failing intermittently.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Try to join arena skirmish. That removes all buffs, auras, and debuffs from the characters including any hidden ones. Might help if your character has got stuck/bugged aura somehow.
