Enchant - Is Runeforging the way to go?

Is Rune of the Fallen Crusader the absolute must have on out off-hand? I only ask (and to some this may seem trivial) but I HATE the effect it has when it illuminates your character and throws two big sword above your head.

Not a fan of things that get in the way of character, I realise this may not be a biggy to some people but wanted to know if there was an alternative enchant/runeforge or is it mandatory for our DPS?

It is mandatory for your DPS. You can transmog the weapon enchant effect, however the 2 swords will still pop up.

That is depressing. It literally makes me want to stop playing the class. :frowning:

how is this a problem? you can hide the enchant effect or choose another illusion mog

i for one like river-song enchant on DW frosty effect

He is talking about the Crusader effect in itself, when it procs it shows this animation of two swords above your character. Not necessarily the Weapon Enchant.

to each their own i guess.

@OP, runeforging is the best, its overpowered for the sole reason so u dont have to use weapon enchants

Think of it this way - you don’t get the animations you want but you probably save yourself 200kish gold over the course of the expansion, go buy yourself an extra month of subscription :slight_smile:.

Though I admit, it would be nice if you could pick an illusion to overwrite the proc effect animation, get on it Blizz!

Another case of lazy devs.

Runeforging is a DK skill. It should not be in the same boat as enchants.
I don’t see rogues chosing between poinsons and enchants.

Because poisons are poisons and enchants are enchants.

Runeforging = Scourge Enchanting.

no, the runeforges are already “OP” enough to compensate not needing the enchant
