Hi. Which class fits enchanting lorewise best? I’m thinking mage or warlock. What do you think?

There’s no Enchanter class in WOW, but sounds like a good idea.

Enchanting fits the mage lorewise.

The classic mage with enchanting/tailoring never gets old I guess. This is my pick for SL at least.

Weaving arcane stuff and magical effects into objects?

I’d say mage fits the bill best.

Enchanting is pretty arcane-ish, so it is fitting mages more than Warlocks and other classes.
Warlocks are into shadow and fire spells, and professionwise it only fits with Shadowtailoring and other appropriate directions of tailoring.

It always seems to make the most sense to do it on a clothie as it’s best to do Enchanting with Tailoring.
