Enchating nonsense

I made a new level 1 character and to give a little edge I sent her some enchant vellums for heirlooms. Turns out she can’t use them, her looms are too low level.

My enchanter also can’t put those enchants on as in her inventory the looms are too high level.

So.. the trick is to send the vellums to a level 34 druid, she makes the looms and enchants them, then sends those looms to my new alt. And the enchants actually do work after this.

The question is why for Elune’s sake I have to do this complicated nonsense?

it’s to remove fun from trial (<20 accounts who use enchanting) and twinking for free

That’s a valid argument tbh, but do they have to make it this convoluted?
Just don’t allow trial accounts access to professions until they subscribe or something.

I’d say if someone manages to raise a plausible enchanter on trial account, just let them. It’s not easy when you have no access to mailbox.

and heirlooms are weaker already by 20-30% of their respective lvl items (eg random dungeon drops)…
