Season is almost ending, and people find no reason to play.
You have removed the cap on crests, but if you started late in the season, the cap might as well not be there, while if you played for the whole of the season, you already have nothing to do with crests.
Instead of doing that change, why not give people a real reason to play at the end:
- Introduce a REAL catchup mechanic for crests (and not that 10 crest discount that you cannot get on your main). Make it so that you get 10% more crests for each 90 crests you are behind the season maximum. If someone starts and plays an alt right now, what does it matter if he gets double or more crests?
- Introduce a doubloon like mechanic at the end of the season. No need to have the vendors added as well, just an add item that costs like 6-12 tokens of merit that upgrades an item to the fated track (like we had in the previous season).
The season is almost over, people that were playing for most of the season are stopping, and players that just started/want to start, see how far behind they are and just give up. I know those changes are not enough to fix m+, but at least make the last months of the season enjoyable.
