With the release of ICC in LK, SoD for Era, a retail patch, and three major server crashes, HC has been hammered in these last couple months. Raiding guilds have collapsed, AH is empty, and there’s very little activity going on. My guild just had to hang up the towel on raiding until interest is back.
A big impact is the amount of time it takes for someone to re-level to 60 when they die in raid. Ignoring the time invested at 60 to prepare for raids, leveling alone is rather dull and slow. My idea is pretty simple and has been kind of used elsewhere: xp buff. Each time you successfully get a character to level 60, you get a permanent account wide buff to experience for Hardcore realms. It will make the pain of going again much more endurable. We’ve had people relevel 3-4 times now and it’s an exhausting climb to come back. Myself I’ve leveled 3 toons to 60 (4th is in the 40s) and lost one so far.

Only if you’re able to toggle OFF this buff will I agree to it!
For me levelling IS game!
Feels a bit against the idea of HC in my opinion, but not against a toggle buff (default off). Would like to add to only make it available if someone has already reached 60 with a character on that account on a HC server.

Also add RDF, dragon riding and token.
It will ruin harcore. U will play not safe, coz it fast boost. Better ask blizzard about resurrection after Server issues(lags), disconnects. I think its only one thing what can be fair for hardcore players

Nah it won’t because everyone who wanted to get to 60 already got once (or multiple times), me included. Now people want to enjoy some endgame content but dying at 60 now makes it not worth anymore to re-level as the initial hype is over.
Serious xp boosts will bring more people to try out endgame hardcore (and it takes long anyway to fully gear up) and allows a transition to tbc hardcore (because for tbc hardcore noone is gonna level the classic 1-60 for sure).
Id come as far as to say that we should get tbc hardcore with instant 58.
What difference then from Classic era? u can save time and do all raids there. Hardcore not only about end game

You are not everyone - everyone is NOT yet 60.
If this is toggle, OFF by default - and only if you have level 60 already, then yes. But else /no!
Era HC is about level, and for me TBC-C HC would be about level. I’d love to HC the Draenei zones!
So in short, please not ask for changes, ruining fun for people not like you!
So you want the sence of danger in raids, but not to re level? That threat of going back to starting zone is all what keeping you playing. If that would be gone there would be not reason to not to play on Era.
However I belive loosing character in HC endgame isn’t deal breaker for players, loosing raiding gear is.
Maybe along with SF mode for HC Blizzard should introduce SHC (semi hardcore) mode for end game, where loosing a character forces you to wait for a month untill next ressuurection wave, or your gear should be saved and returned to your new character of the same class upon reaching lvl 60?
This has been the issue our guild has ran in to. I’ve leveled 3 60s now (lost 1 so far) and honestly the leveling is less time than the lvl 60 raid prep with all the attunements and gear farming and getting consumables. But no one wants to level for the 50th time 1-60, especially when a single disconnect resets you. The HC game is so different at 60.
