Trying to figure out when cast bars on enemies were added into wow and specifically if they were a thing during tbc or a later feature.
I honestly don’t remember. Last week was a bit of a blur so not to mention tbc =P
I did some googling but couldn’t find anything and I don’t feel like scrolling through every patch note ever ^^
Anyone with great memory around?
Yes hidden castbars was only vanilla.

Same thing with buffs. They were also hidden on enemy players in vanilla only.

This was literally the second addon I installed after Questie back when Classic PTR became public in July 2019.
Likewise, not having visible enemy castbars completely threw me off and that addon was a life saver.
I use z-perl and they show castbars. Pity my hunter has no interrupt.
