Engineer glasses transmog for everyone!

Hello!
I’m not sure if I chose the right section to create a topic. I’m sorry if I’m wrong. Also, sorry for using Google translator, because I don’t speak English at the level with native speakers. But I hope my theme will find its response.

Since in the future we were promised to add the ability to use the appearance of white items of equipment
Ongoing expansion and customization of it is something we are looking to do certainly by Dragonflight, possibly before then is rolling a lot of the white and grey quality items into the transmog system so that you can choose from a lot of simpler, humbler civilian attire-type looks. We want to keep adding in more options for customization and self-expression.
I want to convey my request to the developers in this thread, with your help.

In the engineering profession, there are cool glasses that emit light. But they are only available for transmog to classes that wear cloth armor. This is very paradoxical, because mages / priests / warlocks do not use technologies, unlike hunters, rogues and some warriors. Please make these glasses available for transmog for all types of armor.

Here is their list:

  • Power Amplification Goggles
  • Master Engineer’s Goggles
  • Spellpower Goggles Xtreme Plus
  • Spellpower Goggles Xtreme
  • Flying Tiger Goggles
  • Speedy Racer Goggles

I would like to hear your opinion on this.

It’s not a bad request. Goggles from the later expansions all come in cloth/leather/mail/plate to ensure all classes will be able to use those, so you’re pretty much just asking for similar treatment for the earlier goggles.

Yes, but the glasses from the latest expansions are different for each type of armor, I would like these glasses, the old ones, to be available to everyone, regardless of the color of the lenses or the type of armor.

Not a bad idea. Just seeing the conversation in blizzard already:

  • Players asking for…
  • Are you guys bored? Better get busy with android games so we can have billions.

The point is that the decision makers at this company are not interested in games just money.
You can see it with every decision they make.

Add the Deepdive Helm to the list!

It is indeed irritating to having to level up a bunch of different Engineer alts just for being able to get the transmogs.

Let me see…
Cloth:
I have my main, a Warlock with Gnomish Engineering. Which means I also need a Priest for the class-specific one from Sunwell Plateau. Luckily that Priest also can take Goblin Engineering to cover that part for Cloth armour type.

Leather:
Need two chars, one for Gnomish and one for Goblin. However, one of them have to be a Druid for the class-specific transmog craft from Sunwell Plateau.

Mail:
Two characters needed here too, one for Gnomish and one for Goblin. This time one of then have to be a Shaman for the same reason as above.

Plate:
Same as above, two characters, one for each specialisation, and one have to be a Paladin.

it can already be transmogrified for all types of armor.

Not just that, but the goggle transmogs you unlock are not usable by those who do not have engineering.

I wouldn’t mind to be able to use them on alts after I already unlocked it on my main.

And to wear googles along with hoods and masks like DHs wear blindfolds with hoods and masks!

I highly disagree.

Everybody uses technology when they’re an engineer. That is literally the point.

You’re asking for something unique and specific to a profession being taken away from said profession. That simply should not happen.

Engineering goggles have been iconic since Classic WoW and should remain so.

This item must be armor-wide for all your engineer characters.
I made this suggestion with the in-game tool like a year ago and I 100% support this post.

No. I’m not asking for this to be made available to non-engineers. I ask that this be made available to engineers of all types of armor. Although if it is available to everyone, regardless of profession, I will not mind.

I disagree with this.
It should remain an engineering exclusive thing imo.

But within the profession, the transmog rules should be more lax.

I’ll leave these ones here
perhaps googles aren’t that ‘exclusive’ as you think they are

that one took me a while to farm

also there’s the junior technician from a quest in netherstorm
the green googles that everyone seem to have
the one sided plate pink googles from a rare in outland.
and more…

i farmed all of those for my non engineers

That’s ok. I’ve met native English speakers and they don’t speak English either.

Ok that makes way more sense then. Sure!

oh ew I totally would mind.
