Why did they make Engineering goggles bind on pick up? Engineering really got screwed over in SL.

apart from your instant transport all over the place. When I saw the title I assumed this was going to be a complaint that Engineering was almost mandatory this expacā¦
Please donāt pretend anyone picks up Engineering for anything else than the portals and the AHā¦

Only reason I pick up engineering is for Nitro boots and glider. Donāt care about anything else.
Remember these Double-Barreled Cranial Cannon (Legion goggles)??? Yes, they were BOE! Back in Legion, I could make all my alts a head piece but in SL I canāt as they are bind on pickup. Why the change for SL? And can I sell any of the tinkering on the AH? No. All your arguments falls flat on its face. The goggles in SL should have been BOE like in Legion. It would not have broken the game!
The engi CR and the belt enchant proved to be well worth it for me many a times. Portals and the AH in Oribos is a nice QoL thing, too.

BFA is another story. Just because they were changed to BOP on BFA does not make it right. BFA and SL are the two most hated expansions since WOD. Legion we all loved. Again, I canāt see why allowing Engineers to sell goggles on AH or make goggles for alts would be such a big deal? It is just infuriating to gain the ability to craft [Shadowlands Engineering: Crafterās Mark of the Chained Isle] but you can basically use it once for yourself. That is just stupid.
I used to. Many of the extra items were fun and sometimes useful.
In WoD the upgradeable engineering gun was actually a pretty good endgame weapon for a player such as myself.
But for years now, engineering indeed hasnāt really been more than āthe portalā profession.

Portals, gliders, enchantsā¦yeah thats about it. I always pick engineering for my alts atm cause of the travel option in SL.

All my characters have Engineering obviously one of them is my main who will be able to make goggles for all of them but now he canāt as everything is BOP! Get it?

Weeeeee donāt forget ress in combat aaaaand a trap to banish the slimes in plaguefall. Itās always hilarious when I immobilise the slime at the second boss and people try to hit it by muscle memory 
yeah not like all of last season engineering was borderline mandatory because of cardboard assassins in dungeons, still is useful for battle ress for classes that donāt have it and thereās other decent belt enchants.
Combat ress!
Unless youāre making a crafter to sell on the AH thereās virtually no reason to be anything but Alchemy / Engi in SL.
