Please Blizzard, rework the Windfury Weapon and Flametongue Weapon into actual spec passives, so enhancement shamans can use weapon oils.
Right now, since both are classified as “temporary weapon enchantment” they just want to overwrite each other.
There’s absolutely no point in Windfury/Flametongue being temporary buffs. To my knowledge only 2 other classes use the archaic design of single person buffs. Paladins and Rogues. BUT. Paladins can buff others, not just themselves, and Rogues actually have a CHOICE between several poisons.
Enhancement doesn’t have any choice. We just NEED those 2 up at any given time. Please make them spec passives properly. Less constant maintenance would be a plus as well.
As an enha alchemist it was very disappointing that I couldn’t use the weapon oils. Like, why the heck does it even apply ‘temporary weapon enchantment’ anyways? There are a lot of items that do similar things and they do it through a general character buff instead of temporary weapon enchant…
There is also no need for Lava Lash to require Flametongue to do full damage.
And there’s no need for our spells to do half damage when casted without full Maelstrom stacks.
Fire Nova needing a Flame Shock target, and then no way to spread the debuff. Useless.
The fact that Stormkeeper even is a talent choice for Enhance makes one wonder what the hell they’re thinking. That it uses Maelstrom stacks to become instant is another slap in the face since the Lightning Bolt casts will not scale with Maelstrom or consume any due to being instant already. It’s a one minute cooldown to steal your Maelstrom and nerf your LB. Great.
There are so many design flaws. Blizzard did not put much thought into this garbage.
Completely agree, and it is making me thinking about rerolling another class. Shaman might do damage, but my god the design is just stupid. They really dont know what to do with each spec.
Enchantment might look fun, but if you look closer it is just a combination of a lot of crap and they made a rotation with it. It is closer to Elemantalist as it ever was, some like it since it is close to earlyer builds in earlyer expantions… Wooptadiedoe. I fell i love with Shaman in BFA, loved the stormstrike reset spam. It felt like a warrior with elements. Now you see your character cast things with his maces on his hips, next thing you use storm strike with maces again and then you cast again with maces on your hips… It looks actually quite stupid.
Elemental they reworked that thing 3x and went for the old road eventually because they ran out of time. They even broke it harder then before. The only possitive thing is Gracewalker skill where you can move and cast. THATS IT!
Yeah, shaman might look fun from far. But after getting it 60 i kind of regret it and i dont know what to pick… Might reroll warrior or DH since i both got them 50, and getting 60 aint hard at all.
If they just remade the spec to be what it was in WotLK instead of a demo version of it, it might be more fun. Back then it made more sense as we had a lot more tools. This is like a mobile clone where they just copied spells without thinking about design.
I mean, unlike most AoEs it can and will MISS. It seems that if ONE mob has chance to avoid the spell, it’s avoided by ALL the mobs it would normally hit, not just the one. So you just waste a CD (and GCD) only to see a bunch of floating “MISS”
Last time I was missing this much was in ducking Wrath!
TBH I never seen an AoE attack miss so much before.
