Just want to confirm something because i am out of the loop

1. once in beta i read that hailstorm only works for 5 stacks of msw and also the tooltip says so. but on my buffs it shows 10 stacks if i use it with 10 msw.
   so what is correct?

2. Ele blast got nerfed in pvp to only use 7 msw max if i am correct? yet when i use it with 10, it uses all 10 up and i dont have any left. so it uses 10 and only deals dmg like 7? so what if i use it at 7, is it the same dmg?

I don’t know how to answer #2, but #1’s answer is:

Frost Shock scales like so:

• Cleave from 1 to 5 targets after using 1-5 stacks of Maelstrom. Further stacks of Maelstrom have no effect.
• Extra damage from +15% to +150% after using 1-10 stacks of Maelstrom.

Ice Strike adds an extra +100% damage to the main target (cumulative, so up to +250% with 10 stacks of Maelstrom).
