Enhance PVE

   After shadowlands came out I was really excited that Enhance was going to be reworked and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, Blizzard delivered a way better version of  enhance  and I gotta say they have done a good job but there are many talents that are not compeling enough right now.  Looking at you: 

Crashing Storm
Stormkeeper
Elemental Spirits
Ice Strike
Feral Lunge
Fire nova

Besides the talents , the baseline power of enhancement is incredibly low meaning that core abilities like Storm Strike , Lava Lash , Lighting bolt and Chain Lighting Do not feel as impactfull as they should . With my current gear being 222ilvl a Lighting Bolt with 5 MSW stacks deals around 3k~ damage(no crit) which is … sad. Our core damage is doom winds (Legendary) so our damage profile feels like a “minute combustion mage(but the damage is worse)” since our damage outside of doomwinds especially on single target is …not looking very well…
On beta there were some changes to enhance that made him lose power which were not welcome but still remain to this day. Changes like the Hailstorm talent nerf to 15% from 35% and Frost Witch legendary from 100% to 15% were devastating. Instead we got some pretty welcome buffs to MSW spenders which were great (Especially the healing surge ) but damage wise Lighting Bolt is still suffering same as Chain Lighting.
Our conduits are also extremely weak aswell , besides unruly winds. The Focused Lighting conduit was nerfed in beta which was also a weird move by blizzard same with the Wolf bone legendary nerf which was also nerfed on beta.
At the start of the patch Enhance felt strong with doomwinds but right now most other classes have scaled way better than enhance with gear and enhance scales so little with gear right now.
Our other legendaries besides doom winds also need help. Frost witch was butchered so hard ( -85% nerf) on beta and it felt so wrong since it was the most interesting legendary available. Primal Lava actuators is also an extremely unpopular enhance legendary which is so bad it is almost a meme. Wolf bones legendary feels good to play but its damage and the uptime required to make it worth are both pretty bad.
Feral spirits (baseline cooldown of enhance) is a bit better than it was in bfa but it still is a very disapointing button to press since its damage is pretty low and doesnt really help enhance a whole lot for a 2 minute cd.
The things I wrote mostly stand for PVE. PVP enhance also could use a hand but not that much on the damage department ( can’t use astral shift while stunned cough)

After the devs have put so much love and done a good job restoring and making the spec so fun to play I feel like they have to keep up with it and not let it rot behind Resto and Elemental.
I hope someone gets to see this and help us enhancers on raids-pve content.

Totally agree. I’d also add, that all of our covenant class abilities need some love. In comparison to insane outputs people like MM hunters do with their Wild Spirits which is around 10-13% overall at dungeons, Chain Harvest/Vesper Totem being less than 5% most of the times feels a bit off. Blizzard is bringing up another lazy 3-5% buffs for less performing specs including enhancement, but we dont need raw % buff, but rather a solid upgrade to leggos and covenant abilities so we can match some other classes and get invited to m+ pugs :stuck_out_tongue:
