Enhance PvP Mobility + Stun

Yo there Shaman friends!

I had two ideas that would make Enh a bit better with getting to its target with all the mobility that is in the game.

  1. Give us 2 charges of Feral Lunge.
  2. Make Lasso so a dual talent which you can switch between the a castet lasso that does some serious dmg or a lasso which does no dmg but cannot be interrupted and you still can use other dmg buttons during the stun.

I think these are some simple changes which could make enh a lot better in PvP. We are struggling to get uptime for so many years now so give us a little bit of love :smiley:

also:
Heroism gives sprint and freedom, during 5 seconds after using Heroism you can not get CC effects

Also please buff Flametongue weapon damage…

Choice talent:

  • 2 Charges of Feral Lunge
    or
  • Feral Lunge removes all roots and snares
  • Lasso channel lasts for 1 second, if not interupted the stun will last the entire rest of the duration

Playing a bit of a shaman in pvp, there’s only a few changes that would be needed. Mostly the survivability might need some tweaking, but wouldn’t necissary say it’s a major problem.

Enhance definitely need some mobility changes. Pretty much only reason why it struggles in PvP.

Wait for 11.0.5 before posting. Alot of changes there.

No changes to Enhancement’s mobility in 11.0.5 wdym ?

We get mobility in 11.0.5, no idea how good it will be tho, but it’s something.
But yes, Shaman need a proper stun. We have no MS effect or stun, we should get at least 1 of them.

  • New Talent: Lightning Conduit – You have a chance to get struck by lightning, increasing your movement speed by 50% for 5 seconds. The effectiveness is increased to 100% in outdoor areas. You call down a Thunderstorm when you Reincarnate.
  • New Talent: Electroshock – Tempest increases your movement speed by 20% for 5 seconds.

It was hero talent, sadly not shaman tree

Are we that desperate to count a random speed boost as a mobility buff ?
Whats the point if it procs when you don’t need it, or if it doesn’t when you actually do ?
Mobility need to be reliable AND on demand !
Atleast the 20% increased choice node is somewhat reliable, but it implicitly requires to have uptime on your target, which is what Stormbringer struggles with in PvP…
If you can’t connect, there are no tempests, meaning no speed boosts…

You just asked what kind of mobility was in 11.0.5, and movement is mobility. That is what the words means.
Did not say anything else.
Probably no good mobility tbh.

I don’t think Blizzard wants the enhancement to be a mobility class. Seems like they making enhancement more ranged here and there, but that’s hard with maelstrom.
I actually don’t think " give more mobility and I’m good" mindset, must be a better solution.
I didn’t play enhancement for mobility, I can do that on my Monk.

Like did with Ret paladins, most dmg abilities have 25 yard range or something.
All classes can’t going around dashing all over the place.

Give stormstrike and lavalash 25 yard range like Rets and it’s pretty good xD

And I’m saying those changes are so weak I’m not counting them as mobility buff.
That’s my opinion on PVP.

As I said, mobility isn’t the solution for every problem in pvp, seems like people believe it is.

Enhancement is bad at getting uptime on targets once kited, end of story.
Mobility is Enhancement’s current biggest weakness.
Trust R1s, I think they know what they’re talking about.

I think it is for Enh shaman cause without uptime we dont generate mealstrom. No mealstrom no healing and no dmg. And Healing with Mealstrom is also one of our “best” defensive.

I mean would be the same if locks only could generate soulshards if you don’t have a melee on you^^ maybe bad comparison but i tried :smiley:

I know it’s their weakness. No uptime. I played enhance to 2400 in dragonflight.

But I think I would prefer the Ret paladin treatment. Give me 25 yard range on stormstrike, I can generate maelstrom that way.

Ret pala got no more mobility and instead Ret paladins got 25 yards on everything

This is an amazing idea tbh.
Really fits the battlemage fantasy too

That’s what I’m thinking, cuz they are already semi-ranged with lighting bolts, elemental blast and shocks
Only problem is building maelstrom, stormstrike ranged would fix that

Change lightning shield make it when taking damage not only physical damage at least this will help a bit
