I just compared ele vs enhance, played both on the beta…is it a real joke?
CC :
Enhance got all Ele CC plus one as sundering
Heal :
Enhance heals far more than Ele, instantly. Now with easy MW generation, it’s un comparable. How is it possible to heal less when you need to hard cast?
Utility :
Enhance got all Ele utility, even crit totem. Plus the Windfury totem that’s buff cac. Maybe Ele needs a proper thing…
Dps :
Enhance got all the dps instant and the nuke that they share are instant and does way more damage for Enhance….LB, Lave, PW….
Mobility :
Enhance got all the Ele mobilty plus a gap closer.
Enhance doesn’t need a tuning down, it’s well designed spec and i am happy to have it. But seriously do something for the caster spec. You can’t have everything doing less when you need to hard cast and be interrupted.
Well, this is mostly because ele had always WAY better utility than enhance.
The only utility that ele could gain from the class tree is the root removal from Spirit Walk, which is a choice with gust of wind.
One more thing that ele and resto get from the class tree is the totem synergy. Both of those specs have throughput totems (cloud bust totem/liquid magma totem) that can be made better with the totem talents (cd reset/movement). Enh on the other hand has WF totem that does not benefit from those talents.
Also you forgot to talk about Defensives, which ele actually still has the lead, with Primal Elementalist Earth Elemental.
And last but not least, ele is RANGED, which puts it in a different category with other ranged specs.
And warlock is unkilleable, Dh and ww oneshot in one millisecond, is prepatch, we have still legendaries and conduits, and in level 70 we will have less stats than now, what happens now is nothing
Guys i don’t compare to other classes or ask for an enhance nerf.

As i said it’s not possible to hard cast and have less result than instant things….
It’s not possible to have a risk to be kicked with low damage than the instant version.
