Bought the pre-purchase of the new xpac and used the enhanced boost on my priest. Thought it was weird that my ilvl is 397 when all the items are 424. Noticed I didn’t get an offhand. My friend did on a druid and got all items 424 and a crate of extra weapons for offspecs.
I know I can buy a crappy offhand on AH, but I think that everyone should get a complete set of 424, not just some. And why the hell wands… just give us casters a staff…
Yep yep, same with my druid. Missing 3 items at the moment and GMs response was “Nothing we can do about it, sorrymasen :)” And now the response above indicates that there is a chance that we might not get these items when it is fixed. 5/5 gives me huge hope about this company and it’s future. I already asked a refund for the boost and I try to ask refund for the pre-purchase expansion.
So while the underlying issue causing this will be fixed in the upcoming 10.2 update, it won’t retroactively grant missing items.
For anyone that still needs it, you can send in a ticket for assistance via the link here:
Though keep in mind it may take a few days to hear back, so if you want to get playing right away it might make sense to get something temporary off the AH.
Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you can still get up and running with your freshly boosted characters without too much trouble!
The article you link to forwards us to the item restoration service. Am I supposed to request that an item I never received is restored? Am I supposed to make a ticket for each item? And what is the names of said items that I never received? Can’t fill out the ticket without an item name. Edit: You can.
Edit2: I filled out an item restoration form and linked to the support ticket that linked to the item restoration form. I’ll update this post again with the result.
Edit3: After waiting, what, four or five days, I received the missing armor pieces in the mail.
