Enhancement changes in shadowlands are here!

All i want is the option to use my abilities with a 2 handed weapon. Why is that to much to ask?

You don’t need to make an entire build, just let me use stormstrike with a 2 handed weapon that shamans can already use.

I don’t get what you want with 2hand?
If WF stays ticklish like legion and bfa, 2hand will be nothing like in classic anyways.

Also there is still classic.

2h enh is and always was a snorefest

Yes it is go watch the interview from sloot with ion he gave a perfect explanation as to why its not in atm but can be if they figure. Out the unpredictable one shots

dw would always be meta because you can have 2 imbuements. 2h would just be for aesthetics

Might be a dumb question since I’ve only been playing Enhancement since BfA, but exactly is the value of Feral Spirit going to be now that the Legion Maelstrom resource is going away? The text changes on wowhead doesn’t state anything other than: “Summons two Spirit Wolves that aid you in battle for 15 sec. They are immune to movement-impairing effects”.

Is it simply going to be a DPS cooldown because I don’t recall it ever adding much increase to my meters?

Enhancement redesign in legion was terrible. Enhancement should be a melee/caster hybrid. Maelstrom is a fantastic mechanic. There is no spec like it in the game, it needs to keep this niche, not be a generic clunky melee spec like in legino and bfa. Really can´t understand how anyone can find that fun and/or well designed.

the only good thing added in legion was crash lightning to be honest.
Sundering is okish too I guess.

still like earth spike if it wouldn’t be completely garbage to use

Well ist used to restore mana and health in Wotlk. Maybe they will add something similar again. Hopefully they implement some old stuff again, like stormstrike debuff to boost lightning bolt damage. I also hope they give maelstrom a buff like +5%dmg and healing per stack, so hardcastimg won’t be a thing again. I think keeping debuffs / buffs up to max damage makes it more fun and challenging. We will see…

Yeah the old enhancement was heavy in this kind of synergy, feels a little bare without abilities buffing each other. Some more interaction with the shocks is probably needed. Would like frost shock to have a way of rooting again. Makes for some interesting kiting ability in pvp.

Enhancement shaman needs more changes Check out my ideas for changes to enhancement and their problems in shadowlands

Again enhancement will be garbage cause on twitch I dont even see enhancement players playing alpha, its so unrepresented it hurts. Shaman will be crap without proper testing. Some totems should be off gcd, we need proper defensive. Dont expect miracles with shadowlands if this continue.

Its not good if from 200 players invited we have 3-5 shamans overall and 1 enhancement who dont even play pvp at all.

I’m so happy to hear that not only me was bored with legion/bfa shammy. I loved enha that was multitool. It was like playing mele trickster before. And now it’s just few buttons another mele spec just with different graphic and quite slow movements. I couldn’t believe that people were so hyped with castrated demon hunter play style

I think there is one glad enh/ele who is playing in alpha but he usually plays other stuff in alpha at the moment because shaman cannot enter thorgast

Biggest question is, why not 2h again? And bringt in more that Enh doesnt feels like pressing all buttons at the same time, its boring and unsatisfying.

Because it never fit enhance fantasty

Wrong Opinion

Guess that’s why they removed it huh?

they removed it because it gave unpredictable damage in pvp.
Well pvp doesn’t exist anymore, besides 45 min arena games going into dampening.
I think it’s due time to add it back, or at the very least allow an aesthetic choice to use 2 handed weapons.

They still have the functionality in game. I can still log in, collect transmogs and equip 2 handers. The only problem is that some spells require an off hand, that’s it. I dont know why they left that in, if they are gonna let us equip them, then why not let us use them?
