Has anyone done some proper testing with these in BGs/Duels?
While Earth Shield increases healing done by 20% and ticks for 900, the 25% chance of maelstrom procs from Lightning Shield just seems so good?
Getting 2-5 stacks of Maelstrom from a Rogue opener compared to 1-2 ticks of Earth Shield, how does it compare?
Thoughts?
In PvP Earth Shield is almost mandatory. You even take resto potency conduit for more healing with Earth Shield.
Ticks for 900 and you get hit for 10k, won’t make a difference.
I’d really like to play with Lightning Shield but right now it’s just too risky to do so. We are just too susceptible to stuns and we lose a lot of self healing without Earth Shield, the extra 20% for Healing Surge is just too valuable. Maybe in a few weeks when we have access to more defensive Soul binds…
Earth Shield conduit increases healing on you.
Lightning Shield is pretty sure the best, the procs you gain of it are just too good. Just specc into the 20% dmg reduce and speed increase talent
