Good video but nothing new tbh. Venthyr Enhance Doomwinds+Ascendance burst is strong but well known and easily countered by various classes. In 9.2 our consistent dmg gets a lot better since they buffed the focused lightning conduit by a large which enhances all of our msw-spenders. A more consistent dmg oriented build and away from telegrahphed burst with the legacy of the frost witch legendary, decent lightning bolts and hard hitting elemental blasts, maybe even other covenant choices, (I’ll try out necrolord enhance) will be good for the spec.
It will definitvly be better vs Disarm teams that’s for sure ! Thank you, yeah I know that 9.1.5 is soooo far into the patch that really, anything new would be surprising !
I’ll also try out Necrolord Shaman and go full on Blasting-mode.
Or else the nightfae legendary could also be good to have super ultra wolf uptime.
9.2 will be a great playground for alot of classes!
Well yeah. I tried out Fae Transfusion a bit but I think it’s a bit too risky for PvP scenarios. It does sick dmg yes but since its channeled you need someone with strong stun setups since shamans don’t have the best setups for themselfes. What also kinda sucks is that it’s a nature spell and getting interupted on nature school as shaman is really dangerous. (No healing surges, no totems and you loose the ability to use ghost wolf)
To be fair guys I think that we will stay Venthyr just out stat priority might change. Instead of the current Versatility > Haste > Crit > Mastery I think we might go something like this Versa > 10% Haste for globals > Mastery > Crit. Before I liked Crit more than Mastery as it had some defensive value (Healing Surges could crit). Now with Flame Shock spread and buffs to literally all other spells Mastery gains a lot of value and might actually pump. Other good news is that today they lowered mana cost on most of our spells for example Windfury Totem from 12% mana to 1,5%! Frost Witch might end up being insane. Actually I’d love them to make Skybreaker’s lower the CD of Feral Spirits. I’d no joke play that legendary then with set bonus.
