Enhancement shaman- DoomWinds -Fast improvement

NICE AND FAST SERIOUSLY INSANE IMPROVEMENT TO SHAMAN GAMEPLAY W/ doom winds legendary

  1. Doomwinds legendary should just be an ability without being attached to the totem, that way Bloodlust/Heroism can be macro’d with Doomwinds. Makes PvP rotation easier without having to press literally 3 buttons Bloodlust>windfury totem >Ascendance that rotation is already a 30% of mana pool to do.

  2. Healing cost with mana is already high as is theirs no reason that a bloodlust+Windfury totem should cost 30% of mana pool also.

  3. Actually harms the value of Wind fury totem as you would like to have it up all the time in pve scenarios anyway , but you cant since it would proc the legendary.

It seems to me that blizzard have tried to force the relevancy of Windfury totem buy binding the Doomwinds Legendary to it. But seemingly harmed the specialising over time with simple things like this.

Will they ever fix it? probably not lets wait and see

or simply remove mana cost from all spells except healing surge and purge, remove GCD from BL, would also help.

Do you even play Bloodlust? I haven’t seen any top Enhancement doing it. They play:

  1. Swelling Waves for obvious reasons
  2. Grounding if necessary
  3. Ride the Lightning/Static Field Totem/Thundercharge

Bloodlust just costs too much mana - over 1 Healing Surge - add Windfury Totem and you have half of your mana gone. It gives nice burst for few seconds but you don’t need it to kill on Doom Winds.

As a proof to my point.

I would say in 90% of the games - yes ! you play SW/grounding/RTL/SFT

Though I really like the niche using Spiritual Resonance Conduit against mages or hunters when rooted/snared.
It used to be a good choice and in some mmr it’s still. But playing it also makes it more obvious bc you pair it with doomwinds ofc and when you get cc’d, what will happen in most of the time you use it, its a wasted talent aswell.

I only play PvE, but I’ve noticed that I’ve enjoyed Doom Winds a lot more, especially in M+, when I got a WeakAura that tracked both whether I’m in range of the totem, and what’s the time remaining on the Doom Winds debuff. Even just knowing when the buff is about to expire on a trash pull that’s almost dead so you can throw down the totem early and guarantee Doom Winds on the next trash pull can make a huge difference. Yes, the one minute internal cooldown can be a bit tricky to manage sometimes, but I feel that’s one of the things that you need to learn to play well.

The thing is that if we play PvP we can’t keep totem up because it costs too much mana. 1 heal is a difference between life and death but actually that’s good to know. I didn’t know you can pre-cast totem to get buff. I thought you have always to cast a new one.
