As a long standing enhance player i’m all for these Shadowland changes. I recently heard an interview with Ion talking about maybe altering GCD for specific classes/spells.
My biggest hate about this expansion as an enhancement PVP player is everything being on a GCD - and I’m feeling very anxious with the addition to these new/returning abilities in Shadowlands.
To give you an example of what I mean in a pvp play by situation, here’s how many buttons I need to click when I need to burst a target.
In this scenario I have just incap stunned a target - this gives me 3 seconds to get my burst out.
1 - Ascendance
2 - Bloodlust
3 - Feral spirit
4 - Thundercharge
5 - Bag of tricks (racial)
6 - Counterstrike Totem (optional)
Also very situational but not exactly rare - a caster is trying to cc you and your sheer is down you might have to drop a grounding totem or equally a tremor totem during your burst faze. Additionally if the target is blinked/leaped you have to use earthbind totem
So that’s 6 mandatory abilities used during your burst all on the same global cooldown. By the time I’ve pressed half my abilities the target is out of the stun. and i’m still pressing buttons and not actually doing any damage.
I understand that removing alot of GCD’s on abilities can really buff a class but surely that can be somewhat balanced with number reductions. Currently enhancement shaman is horribly clunky to play in PVP.
Posting this with the hopes that it might get recognised and taking into consideration.

This is a good point. I think a good change for enhancement is to balance it out by making some spells that are required to perform in a comfortable manner is a good thing. not for all, but for some. in this case enhancement surely fits that.
I hope this gets recognized.
I’d love for Ascendance, Bloodlust and Feral spirit would come off cd. I think in general big cooldowns shouldn’t be on the gcd, that goes for every class, But I would also love for totems to not be on it as well. All we can do now is hoping blizz will see this and change it.
feral spirit can stay on gcd, now it is more or less useless.
So if feral spirits don’t get the dmg healing or utility back, now with maelstrom gone, what does feral spirits actually now do for us? Nothing?
Seems kinda not thought through. because they pretty much do 0 dmg.
Bloodlust needs to come of cd in pvp once again, like it is in pve.
Thundercharge needs just to be removed, nobody picks it like ever. With C&S removed, it is a dead talent anyways.
Ascendance needs to either be of gcd or need something while pressing the button (like resto).
But honestly, ascendance can die in a fire.
Enhancement shaman needs more changes here is my ideas for possible changes for enhancement shaman and some for all shamans
