The Enhancement Shaman still struggles in PvP with some fundamental weaknesses that put it at a disadvantage compared to other melee DPS specializations.
What Enhancement Shamans Could Use Buffs For:
-
Survivability:
- Astral Shift Improvement: A reduction in cooldown, the ability to use it while stunned, or an additional effect such as a short immunity to specific damage types or a stronger damage reduction.
- Passive Damage Reduction: A small but consistent passive damage reduction (similar to Restoration Shamanâs âEarth Shieldâ).
-
Mobility:
- More Reliable Movement Ability: Adding another mobility ability or significantly improving existing options to make it easier to âstick to the targetâ and âget away.â Spirit Walk ist definitely not enough with the high CD and Gust of Wind doesnt remove snares.
-
Totem Resilience:
- Making Totems Tougher: Increasing the health of totems in PvP so they arenât immediately destroyed by attacks. Also the GCD of using the totems should ve removed, since its hard enough to react to enemies
In summary, the Enhancement Shaman has the potential for high burst moments, but their low survivability, limited mobility, and reliance on cooldowns often disadvantage them in the current PvP meta.
