  • Flurry: Increases your attack speed by 15% for your next 3 melee swings after dealing a critical strike with a spell or ability.

Synergies and Playstyle

  • Boulderfist ensures steady Maelstrom generation, which synergizes well with Landslide and Elemental Assault for consistent critical strikes.
  • Forceful Winds and Stormflurry enhance the power and frequency of your primary melee attacks.
  • Hot Hand and Lashing Flames make Lava Lash a potent source of sustained damage.
  • Searing Assault, Hailstorm, and Fire Nova add significant elemental damage and AoE potential.
  • Stormkeeper, Elemental Spirits, and Earthen Spike provide powerful cooldowns for burst phases.
  • Crashing Storm, Fury of Air, and Overcharge ensure strong AoE and burst capabilities.
  • Ascendance, Primordial Wave, and Elemental Blast offer powerful finishers and additional utility.

This talent tree and ability setup ensure that the Enhancement Shaman using a two-handed weapon can dish out significant sustained and burst damage while maintaining a dynamic and engaging playstyle.

1. They dont wanna do alot for the spec its obvious
2. They are paid so WE are pleased not THEM so DONT do their job
3. They get paid to use the enormous current feedback and make things that community wants(thats why they dont need more from you)
4. Your suggestion no matter how good it is you already lost because:
a. You mentioned “Enhancement” in your title = insta ignore from the devs
b. Our “official representative” -Wordup - is happy and pleased with 1-2 changes if happen so thats all the feedback they ll listen to

Hello.
Did you found it at least interesting?

I want to keep trying. Shaman 2Handed is more than viable for DPS class. No matter how ppl say it’s not, they forget that’s all about math, with the increased chance of getting Maelstrom weapon stacks between other things.

Games are supposed to be fun. And I want to have more fun with this class, so I give, in my opinion what would be the best of interest for this Shaman Enhancement Version.

I don’t even know who is shaman Enhancement " representative " as you said. Who is he?

I like the effort you put in this!

Realistically, adding 2h to the current state of Enhancement would be rather simple:

  1. Remove the Dual Wielding requirement for Stormstrike and Lava Lash
  2. Add a literal buff to our damage (e.g. “+3% damage while using a 2h weapon”)
    • See Windwalker Monk, for example. They make up for the difference between DW and 2H via a similar buff.

And there we have it! Two tiny, minimalistic changes and we can use 2H! Such a polite change has already been made for Windwalker, with their buff, and Fury, with Single-Minded Fury (that talent is still bad, but it’s there!)

Why haven’t they done it yet in Retail, when they’re clearly toying with it in SoD? What’s the big deal? I honestly don’t know.

It feels like they dont want to add it because it would be too cool.

Surely that is why the tornado on Wf proc is gone.

It seems that you tried to incorporate some of the classic shaman abilities with legion ones in a legion style talent system.

Realistically speaking this is something that could work if they made season of discovery for legion, although there are many spells/effects that are just simple abilities that do not interact with any design goal on the spec.

Unfortunately it is not that simple. People are correct when they say that the answer is “math”, but then people that do the math come along and say that it would be simpler to create a new spec to make it work.

He is the guy that has been theory crafting, writing guides, and keeping all information updated for enhance in the last 10+ years (this might be an understatement).

  • he doesn’t even mains enhance and even shaman
  • I don’t like him.
  • He also doubels down on his own words and statements to be fluffy to blizzard i have read his Alpha changes he wanted/asked/suggested he ignored 90% of what we wrote before hand just to fluff to blizzard.
  • Wont be suprised why we didn’t get much of anything or any changes past 10 years Graphical/Abillity wise
  • he is a pure pve perspective player
  • i find more helpful and leading statements/suggestions/feedback from enhance mains who also stream/do youtube like Saul/stankie/sektor or even shamans in general Cdew, i also find random enhance mains on alpha feedback more based on suggesting/explaining stuff to blizzard better then him

Point 1 is kind of irrelevant as he still is the main contributor to the community with some others theorycrafters in the discord.

Point 2 is your most respectable position.

Point 4 is just factually wrong. In the last 10 years enh went from WoD playstyle that was the culmination of classic to mop design, to the legion rework (where they went 180 turn and tried something totally different), to the SL rework where they merged the legion rework to the old design.

Point 3, 5, 7 is mainly a byproduct of point 2 from what I see.
He is the main theorycrafter but his job is not to share his position/opinions, he also has most of its interaction from the discord (which while massive, is composed mainly by active high end players), which positions clash pretty wildly with the average forum poster.

i hope you can read even past 7 days comments of enhance players enjoy.
Also we didn’t get any changes since SL alpha (It was the same alpha feedback like that and we didnt get nothing just to get released with a trash spec BTW same happened in BFA alpha people gave feedback nothing changed blizzard even said “Sorry for it” but until this day they continue same trend) just remember that , besicly nothing changed from Legion besides them trying to force people to go elementalist in DF.

Dude, really now?
Just from the top of my mind:

  • rework from legion/bfa playstyle to a new design (having 2 playstyle with doomwinds and hot hands builds)

  • reintroduction of WF totem as a raid buff.

  • only time in history where enh was actually played at the high end in pve.

  • another rework with new talent system in DF

  • hot hands build changed to become the elementalist, and they created another build in storm.

How is that no changes?

The only part that I agree is that the Legion>BFA transition was actually awful. Legion design had its flaw but it was not that bad, while BFA was straight downgrades and them actually TEASING a rework to then deliver just some minor talent changes (to underperforming talents).

I managed to read like 50 of them (past 5 days) and only 4 were for enhance. With 1 of them being wordup with an updated list of bugs from the beta.

Because enhance community just gave up giving more comments just check after the “rework patch” like 3 weeks ago check enhance players reaction to it there , " i am done with enhance" “no point in giving feedback anymore” " i am done rerolling" “just proves blizzard doesn’t gives a f about us” “devs have no clue what they are speaking about” “we are pleased how enhance plays - says it all for me no point in suggesting anything” and so on.
Wordup comment and suggestions/feedback was before the “rework” he spoke about bloat also he had entire list of stuff there which he doubeled down on and left it dry 90% of it just to fluff blizzard on wowhead post.
