Anyone have a rough idea of how often Vision of Perfection proc as a major essence in a ST scenario? I know it’s not listed anywhere near being Best in Slot but I really like the idea of it (and it’s one of the few rank 3’s I got). Except I feel like the proc’s just really inconsistent. When I tried it out I often went almost 2 usages of Spirit Wolf before I got a Vision proc. And Spirit Wolves cooldown with Elemental Spirits and the minor essence is at 1.1 minutes. That’s almost 2 minutes for 1 proc.
Don’t use sundering use the aoe whirlwind it will proc vision constantly

I use conflict n strife, but thats mainly for the support it brings
If i do solo visions i use vision of perfection, but my cloak is only like 5 on it so 
I’d also like to know, I’ve been using it in all content as of late since my decent mouse broke, I’m running my backup mouse which has way less buttons, so I’ve been taking as many passives as I can.
For me it varies wildly, sometimes I go for a couple minutes with no wolves, other times I get 2 procs within 3 seconds of each other, I’ve managed to get 3 sets of wolves up at once on more than one occassion (4 from VoP, 2 from Feral Spirit).
That’s a really great idea. I just gave it a check against the 3 target dummies in Boralus and I definitely got 1-2 procs per minute. Was expecting a bit more than that but I guess that would already be too much compared to other Essences. Will give it a try on M+ later.

it’s per enemy so when you’re surrounded it will hardly ever drop off providides alot of self healing too
VoP (major and minor) is garbage for enhancement I’m afraid. The wolves arent good on their own, but only in combination with other cooldowns. What you want to do is pop wolves -> major essence (blood/worldvein/life force) -> Sundering/Ascendance for a strong burst window that will carry your dmg, especially during bloodlust. With VoP major you will get these random 5 second wolves here and there that will only give a tiny amount of maelstrom and buff 3-4 abilities if you use Feral spirits. Even the minor is a dps loss compared to other minors, sorry to say. Of course you can use it for now but you should work on getting better essences.
If you are considering using Vision of Perfection, here is one competitive PvE build that works with it:

- Weakauras to track your wolves
- 3x Primal Primer Azerite Traits

– Totem Mastery
– Sundering
– Elemental Spirits
It plays like Outlaw Rogue with Roll the Bones. You will get the highest crits I’ve ever seen in BfA (upwards of 150k, seen 300k+). In general, however, I don’t currently recommend the build.
Forget it.
Best one is blood of the enemy on major slot, and it fit well to 1.5 min cd on talented wolfes + sundering.

Yes and that is also why vision minor is very bad, because it desyncs feral spirits with bote
