Unfortunately I am not enjoying Classic as much as I should have thought I would have been. I play on one of the most populated normal realm that 99% of the guilds are obsessed with end-game and raiding. Every night desperately reading trade and guild recruitment channels for seeing a message that does not include “raid” in their recruitment.
I make alts, fishing, questing, helping people around, doing some PvP now and then, but it is getting old and MMOS are not fun when you play alone. Hopefully battlegrounds will give a little colour to my journey, but I was thinking I would find like-minded people and join a guild and play Classic till the end of my days, it turned out people are changed and end-game raiding mentality took over gamer’s play style.

Yeah, every server is overpopulated making the faction imblance much worse. Was close to get my epic mount by farming herbs, now that wont happen for quite some time. Its sad, loved it when you could actually do stuff beside raiding even when there were more hordes.
I think this is where I fall off, I haven’t the time to raid and was generally going for gold to get gear, however, as I now can’t do what is needed, and my guild has died, not really much to do.
Now guildless on my 60 (feral druid) after 4 bad experiences, and raiding guilds have pretty ridiculous requirements and or not willing to take ferals.
I am just farming gold on him and using the gold on my twinks instead of my 60 as raiding is meaningless (almost no gear until AQ). I won’t be able to go for rank 10-14 so the 60 will just get dust until AQ if i ever play it again in raids.
So the honeymoon is finished but i can’t wait to take the twinks and melt some faces in WSG.
no got my post unlisted for raging about multiboxing it was never this bad, people used to multibox in TBC but i do remamber them getting banned thanks for unlisting my post blizzard not only you messed up the game with spy :), You allowed a script and package manipulation this is against the rules oh the irony.

I’m a ridiculously laid back, casual (and old) player who likes developing alts for self sufficiency so it suits me fine but the server I’m on (Nethergarde Keep) has such a bad Horde/Alliance balance (1: 4 even 1: 6, I’ve been told) it renders the game virtually unplayable for Horde. Questing is a pain because mobs are farmed/stolen by the opposite faction. Org is defunct because Allies raid every night and kill all NPC’s. I would roll on another server, but nope - not a PVP server, so hence I have no choice. I may well quit.
And yeah, you can have my stuff.

No, horde just dodge as soon as there’s a fair fight, or they come back later with a full raid and camp your small party.
Loving it and its not gonna change anytime soon

Yes, because retail is just a fancy mobile game at this point.
I liked Gandling as well! Until the 2nd phase came. Now it’s high lvl Horde camping left and right, so I can’t level anymore.
Well, I think yes, I still enjoy I was lucky to have pretty balanced and not very overpopulated realm, so it is fun to have PvP raid runs, and it is possible to find some quiet place to do a couple of quests or to fish But even there, degree of PvP activity is higher than I expected, so, when I really want to chill out, I’m levelling an alt on PvE :).

Yep, on HW RP server and having fun leveling a bunch of characters! That’s why I wanted Classic… To revisit the old world and try out a bunch of classes I missed back then (Druid is still my main though). It’s a nice, relaxing experience for me
