I think this is one of the very few times where I can say that I speak for the community, and we do not want this garbage.

It’s not like they have to tune down the number of abilities per spec from 35+ to like 5.
Horrendous idea.

Also, check your home for potential gas leaks, because it is obvious you clearly need more fresh air

Yes.
WoW’s control scheme does not work well with a single mouse, which is important because a touch screen is effectively an imprecise mouse (or two, at most).
There are a lot of mobile games that don’t understand this, which is kind of frustrating actually. Even Apple are releasing some that don’t, like RE Village.
Interestingly, Blizzard’s classic games were actually designed to be playable with a single mouse and for small and low res displays. Diablo 1 and 2 and even StarCraft would play great on mobile. No, you couldn’t pay it competitively, but it would work well enough for finish all campaigns and even do most custom games. It was designed to work from the start.

i mean Tarisland is a good example, that a Mobile Game with Pve (raiding) and Pvp can be Played on a Mobile Phone.
and 1 Game more from the franchise what we all love isnt that bad or?
i mean nobody gets hurt when we have a Mobile version of wow what is designed for Mobile and does not Share the same Server with the Pc version of wow
and Classic wow also have only a Few Buttons, i mean they also can Make Combo attacks. Like if u press with your Thumb the Fireball Icon, the icon gets switched into Fireblast or something
i really dont mind to have a wow mobile version as long as it’s not like diablo imortal when it comes to monetization p2w i rather having a shop with Skins or mounts
Blizzard were developing a WoW MMORPG for mobile for a while, which then got cancelled some time after Blizzard lost access to the Chinese market.
Whether that was a 1:1 version of WoW on mobile, or a new WoW game of its own, I don’t know.
But there is/was a demand for mobile titles in China, and Blizzard were actively working on a WoW title for a while.
I would not put it past them if they were to resurrect that project, now that they’re back in China.

Everyone gets hurt when we get a mobile version of WoW.
Because having a mobile variant of your game means you need to cater to the mobile target audience, which is a vastly different audience than what you have now.
You want a mobile version of WoW?
Under one condition : it’s 100% detached from the current game.

I sincerely don’t think that is going to work. I don’t know how they’d even put it on console with the amount of buttons we have.
I might be revealing my age, but why on earth would I play any game on my phone, when I have 2 32" screens and a 70" tv at home?
Mobile gaming is for kids in the same way as the gameboy was in my youth. Let’s not poison the well further by adding wow to mobile gaming.
I don’t think WoW could port to mobile in it’s current state. It would have to be another version of WoW specifically made for mobile. More like a spin off mobile game.
