Hello Everyone.
I brought this topic from the Us story forums:

"We had an entire expansion in Pandaria where the moral of the story ended up being “you two can be great if you work together,” followed by two expansions demonstrating this. Yet Blizzard still wants to claim that the faction war has a leg to stand on.
If they’re gonna push the faction war, fine. But at least be consistent about it - don’t spend a whole plot line hammering in that we’re bad for fighting, than immediately try and goad us into fighting again."

"Their mistake - one of several, actually - was trying to push the faction war story alongside the apocalypse story. Mists of Pandaria worked as a faction war narrative because Cataclysm had a conclusion where the world was saved from annihilation. The priorities of the characters made sense when the stories were separate. Sure, they crossed over on both ends - there was plenty faction conflict in Cataclysm, and Pandaria had an overarching Old God plot - but overall, the Hour of Twilight and the Pandaria Campaign were kept individual.
What Battle for Azeroth could have benefited from was something similar - the Azerite plotline should have been separate from the War Campaign. They’re trying to push Azerite as a driving motivator for the war, but honestly, I don’t feel its influence that much in the plot."

"The problem is when they pulled the trigger on Teldrassil burning they opened a pandroa’s box they seemingly have no clue how to handle in a way the player base will feel is satisfactory.
There is literally no way for the Horde to make up for it—Even if everyone responsible for its planning and execution were killed off The core of Kaldorei civilization would still be gone, with what remains of their traditional homeland a stumpy blight addled wasteland.
It is much the same for Undercity and the surrounding lands; the amount of blight released there will render that area uninhabitable even for the Forsaken for decades at least. Southshore is still uninhabitable years later and the amount of blight used there was a drop in the bucket compared to what she used at the end of the siege."
