Do you not understand that there are also plenty of ally favored servers where the same thing happens that you describe but in reverse? Faction imbalance is not a black and white thing.
then ask ur friends to move? alliance kinda sufferd on all realms (almost all) and the only thing they have a bonus is que times?

maybe one day a forum mod will visit this forum and merge the hourly new threads of some Horde player, having chosen Horde for whatever reason (let’s pretend they didn’t know why…), crying over the queue times they have created for themselves by jumping on the bandwagon then come crying expecting someone else to solve their problem for them. It’s the same attitude you see more and more in real life these days- someone else must do ‘something’ to fix X, spending someone else’s money and never a real solution offered just criticism.

If you want EU only examples then: Everlook, Pyrewood, Earthshaker, Mirage Raceway, Zandalar Tribe, Nethergarde, Lakeshire, Heartstriker, Bloodfang, Auberdine. All of these are at least significantly Ally favored. This is putting aside that world PvP currently basically doesn’t exist.
Rerolling Ally is not an option until Blizzard adds faction transfers.
theres bunch of pve servers in there,who cares about those…but yeh they should add option horde to alliance if people want
I just do not get how you can put something like a “crime” tag for rolling the faction you enjoy - it does not make ANY sense.
Most people have made that permanent choice ages ago and let’s be real - you can expect a problem to arise at some point, but this is just too much.
As I mentioned in another post, I did play alliance for P1 and P2 on EU-Lucifron (a 70-30 Horde dominated server), the experience was bad… Yet the game did not tell me to literally afk 90% of my online time - that’s a truly horrible experience btw.
And PLEASE don’t argue that you can always farm gold or something in the waiting time - else I will tell any alliance that ever cried because of ganks to RP in their maincity instead (that’s also an action in the game right - just not the one you might like!)
In fact, if people think about it for a minute you will see that alliance people are the entitled ones here - the hypothetical solution of a merc mode for bg queues does in fact not hurt anyone, it just takes an ‘advantage’ away that was never supposed to be there in theory and was not even close to as large in real TBC.
So we (both factions) are now literally hoping for people to quit the game to fix the problem? What a nice view on gaming society…

Yes thats because of the meta culture. Pvpers go Horde while PvE players go Alliance.
Solution: More horde rerolls to Alliance faction.
I have never understood these “you created this problem yourself” or “you knew what you were getting into” arguments. Its not like people actually knew the ques would be 1 hours+ long when creating characters for TBC? At least I did not, as the original game had 15-30mins ques. Not double or triple or quadruple times that amount. Sure, I knew allys have instant ques but I also knew that I could live with 20mins ques if I want to play with my friends, no problem. 1hr+ however is a bit different than 20min.
Also, our server is almost 50-50 horde ally, so clearly speaking from this server’s point of view things are pretty balanced and I did nothing to make it any worse here. Even when looking at the big picture with all EU PvP realms, the balance is 20% more in favor of the Horde. 20% shouldn’t translate to 10-20x longer ques for Hordes by any kind of math.
Second of all, all the people crying about getting ganked - that sucks and I wouldn’t wish that for anyone, but you at least had the option to migrate to a better balanced server. Earthshaker is 65% Ally if you like PvP, if you don’t you can migrate to a PvE realm. There is no “just migrate” option for Horde available at all. Only option at this point is a FULL reroll. Losing all the gear you had, all your reputations, all of your gold, everything. If and when Blizzard brings a paid faction change we are at the same line with our bg que problems versus your ganking problems.
I don’t know why I even replied here. Not like you can actually have a proper discussion in this spergfest trolling place where all people do is flame & blame each other with zero empathy. Just because you had it bad but decided to not do anything about it (like migrate), doesn’t mean we should have it bad as well and with no proper solutions outside a full reroll.

What you don’t get? Other faction can continue their characters as they are while other needs to start totally over? I don’t think these two are in any way similar things. Imagine faming all reps to exalted again, farming epic flyer, farming another 100k of honor… list goes on. While the other faction can just swap server and have all progress still there.
Yeah they should give you transfers, but i have seen alot of horde mention friends and guilds too which doesnt make any sence
Faction transfer is really the only proper solution here. Merc modes and horde v horde bgs will only break the game
Yeah Alliance EOTS queues are insane too.
Sometimes I have to wait longer than 3 minutes! It’s unacceptable. Pls give Alliance bonus honor Blizzard.

Alliance as always choosed by people who mant to min/max. For best racials, and for obv advantage in PvP due to items. For big adavantage in isnt bg procs.
And horde players, for choosing weaker faction, now suffer even more than they expected to do. We expected 10m, maybe 20m queue, but 1h and more?
I’m sure there’s almost as many undead players as all alliance races combined in arenas because alliance is the meta faction for PvP.

mate how do u come up with this stuff, in what personal universe is the horde the weaker faction? alliance has 1 advantage in tbc, which is low queues times, but even without queue times its still about 1,5k honor per hour which is terrible. you shouldnt be comparing racials and crying about the queue time, u should be making bug reports about the honor gained from winning/lossing bgs
Your math doesnt check out. You guys go alliance because you have the largest PVE Playerbase there, horde go horde because we have the largest pool for arena players here. Thats just how it is, people are min maxers, and if thats where we have players to play with we do it.
Thats like saying, oh alliance can now only do PVE Raids every 10 weeks, but you can go horde, be aware though that horde has no players.
Its just as dumb as you alliance players make it out to be. Stop the overexaggeration, classic was all over the place FOTM Alliance, yet alliance had instant queues. If you dont want to pvp? fine. let horde players do their content.
