EotS queue is longer than one hour at the moment. How are you supposed to farm marks?

They also have better racials

These are raid logs. Nearly everyone playing PvP actively has rolled horde. This means as a percentage more alliance and less horde raid. This means faction balance is really, really, really skewed.

Do you have a solution for this that doesn’t further exacerbate faction imbalance? I’m all ears.

Wait what? Horde has more raiders than ally, how is ally then the bigger pve playerbase?

There is no crime-tag, it is math.

Your math is off.

If 90% of all alliance on server X with a population of 1000 is PvE oriented and 80% of all horde on server X is PvE oriented but they have a population of 1500 the Horde still have more PvE players. 900 for alliance and 1200 for horde. So even if they have a higher percentage of PvE oriented people playing they still have fewer numbers in total.

I think we’ve left the nochanges crybabies behind far enough that we can talk about adding mercenary mode to Classic.

1h queues for bgs is getting to the point where PvP gear is unfeasible for 99% of players, not because they’re bad but because they can’t spend 1.5h of their day to get 200 honor and 1-3 bg marks. It just isn’t realistic. Terrible for competition too because you can’t really compete with someone who has 150+ resilience more than you for the same time spent PvPing. It will only get far worse as Allies finish their farm and stop queuing BGs.

Mercenary mode will solve the problem for horde, but will absolutely make it worse for alliance.

Alliance currently has it worse overall - worse racials, getting outnumbered in open world pvp, less people to play with. If horde also gets the one and only advantage alliance currently has, it’ll make it worse.

I don’t consider a “solution” that only works for your side a solution at all.

Yeah, will you really play in two weeks? You sound like a player of game that will have new patch at that time

And it doesn’t caunt casual PvP players who doesn’t attend to raids at all, who are the reason behind the long queue on the Horde side.

I’m not sure what that means.

They ones that boosted lvl 58 Horde character and want only to buy honour sets and do not particupate in any PvE static or activity though many PvE trinkets and some weapons would be BiS on Arena. They only want to play on BGs.

You not understanding basic supply and demand is the problem not my math.

BIG NO for mercenary mode. You signed up for this playing ez mode and pop fraction.
Reported for trolling because it is another one hordi crying topic when we already have plenty of them around.

How is horde easy mode? Horde struggled in PvE compared to ally the entirety of Classic, yet they still had no queues while horde sat through 20-40min ones the entire two years. Horde was also the worse group PvP faction until at least AQ because Shamans didn’t scale out the a** yet. Yes, there were more Horde favored servers but there were also plenty of Ally favored ones where the opposite was true (and still is). At least Ally was offered server transfers at several points during Classic. Horde is being offered nothing at all here.

This isn’t weighing advantages against each other, Horde is essentially not offered access to BG PvP at all. It’s not realistic to expect someone to sit through 1h of queues and 20-30min of a BG to gain what is essentially one hundredth of an item that is borderline necessary to enter arena. Especially when the other faction can get that item in two days. And no, Ally don’t have strictly worse PvP racials, they’re just different. Warriors, Hunters, Paladins and with how Perception turned out to be Rogues are arguably better on Ally. Priests are at least equally good. The only class I can think of that is strictly worse on Ally is Shamans because Draenei racials are bad for PvP.

tl;dr “I want advantages, screw the alliance”

I sure hope you’re happy to wait, because that’s what you’ll do.

I don’t want access to BGs barred because I rolled the faction my friends rolled on. The factions are nowhere as imbalanced as you think. Alliance just generally seems much less interested in PvP. This should not come at the cost of Horde not being able to do PvP.

Thats nonsense. Horde is 3% favored when it comes to active raiders. That and the queues let you extrapolate that there’s a massive faction imbalance. Therefore to actually solve the issue (and not just create a single faction game) nothing should be done that benefits horde unless it also solves the faction imbalance directly.

Mercenary mode would do the opposite, so it shouldn’t be added.

Also, your situation is rather comparable to being alliance on a horde dominated pvp server, except these people have it much much worse, since they’re basically barred from all open world content, not just BGs (which you’re still not “barred” from, you can get into one if you wait a bit).

Maybe listen to the Dev’s who say the A:H balance is fine on a global scale. Outside of specific hotspot servers (which has been the case for a decade) the issue is the Alliance just aren’t queuing for BG’s

You’re playing the oppressed player narrative here.

A:H balance is fine, but alliance don’t go on PVP servers and don’t queue BG’s. If PVE servers didn’t exist this issue would naturally have to fix itself.

“I would quit/it would kill the game”. Guess what. That’s going to happen regardless enough if people start playing Classic era exps like it’s world of instancecraft on retail.
