Suggestion/complaint.
Big premade are killing random battle grounds.
I suggest that premade party groups are roughly equally big on both sides.
Example1.
If horde have 5 people that are in premade group. Then alliance can have 0-10 people that are in premade group.
Example2 .
Alliance has 15 people in premade group. Then horde have 10-20 people in premade group.
Never a bigger difference than 5 people on both sides, that are in a premade group when queing for BG.
There is no challenge in winning on randoms when in a 10+ premade. It’s basically just bullying at that point.
And I’m sure you are bleeding random people’s subs because of this.
I don’t suggest removing premades, because it is fun to play with friends.
But it should not come at the cost of random people getting bullied and not have a fighting chance.
The problem is that not all premades are made equal. A group of 5 new, ungeared players who are queuing together is not comparable to a group of 5 who are fully geared, using voice & consumables.
There are lots of weak players who queue together, albeit we typically don’t notice them in BGs. They’re no stronger - in fact they are often weaker - than a random selection of players.
Though large coordinated groups are a pain, I’ll admit. Blizzard purposely limited the maximum group size to 5, but premades get around that by coordinating the queue invites over voice.
Perhaps they could stagger invites somehow, or avoid putting multiple 5-man premades onto a single team.
You are right, that people can have lower ilvl. But getting full honor gear is kinda fast, and close to max ilvl. (Wish it was closer to conquest gear, but hey).
People not using voice chat is on them. It’s few clicks away, using ingame voice chat.
Consumables the same.
Did not want to make the suggestion too complicated. But maybe they could try to match ilvl better too.
This might be an option too.
What I really want, is to not meet big premade groups, unless I get into one too.
Yep queue times have been as long as 10+ minutes lately. I agree about the premades - this is starting to become an major issue and limiting the number of groups to 1 premade of 5 per queue can resolve this issue. Then again it may also increase queue times for those grouping up.
It is objectively not fair - which is why Blizzard doesn’t allow you to queue as a 6+ party premade with a dedicated leader with macros and often voice comms. You are fighting absolute random people just trying to have fun as a squad of sweatlords whose sole purpose in life is to see honour level number increase.
The only way they get around Blizzard’s systems is by chain-leaving queues until they all get the same queue pop. It is the definition of not fair.
Yes, but good luck getting Blizzard to do anything about it - took them like 8 years to make an advertisements channel and to move some boosting ads out of the dungeon/pvp section
