Hey there
I came back to the game after almost one year break.
I play Horde on retail.
I play as a casual pvper, mainly for fun, and I do Epic BG most the time (it’s the kind of pvp I like)
When I left the Horde was clearly dominating that kind of bg.
Now, after a few days, I’ve experienced the opposit.
Is it me having “bad luck”, or is the Alliance now much more tougher in Epic Bg.
I’m still waiting to win my first Ashran, and some Wintergrasp are clearly humiliating for the horde (though winning is possible if defending… but not always)
Note that I talk here only about Epic BG, not “standard” bg.
Thanks for your comments and answers
Since Hardiness’s orc racial was nerfed, many things have changed between the factions.
Depends. The premading is worse than it’s ever been before. You could be playing against people who’re syncing there queues to get more than 5 players into the BG. It seems more common to face them as a Horde player I noticed. It’s also a problem on classic as well.
Yes, I’ve been queuing up as a Galactic Guardian and single-handedly pushing our win rates. Yes, you are allowed to thank me.
Thanks all for your replies.
I’ll comment and add my (very) modest experience here on two epic bgs mainly, Ashran and Wintergrasp.
Wintergrasp: In defense the horde seems to have big difficulties achieving anything and is quite passive. It seems hard to prevent Alliance from building siege equipement and I’ve seen very fast Alliance victories.
In attack: it seems that the Alliance prevents the Horde to cap and build things. I’ve seen several times graveyard farming and a totally overwhelmed Horde. It wasnt like that in january/february when I last played. Something clearly changed.
Ashran: 3 games out of 4 end in farming on the last flag or on the bridge of Alliance, and games are a slow agony of Alliance tickets.
So, outside the “problem” of premades, do you experience the same?
