Does epic flying get cheaper in Wrath? Anyone remember?
As I recall it does not get cheaper, but, getting gold becomes quite a bit easier.
I believe it was in Wrath my young self finally managed to get an epic flyer for that reason.
Though if the price changed in later patches I don’t remember as I already had my mounts by then and didn’t check.
It is 5k still , but 5k in wrath is super easy to earn in like a span of a week with dailys and proff .
Wrath of the Lich King Patch 3.2.2 (2009-09-22): Mount Changes
-
Reduced the expert riding skill price to 250g.
-
Changed the faction discounts for the riding skill vendors in Honor Hold and Thrallmar to use Stormwind and Orgrimmar faction, respectively. This is because newly-arrived 60s in Outland are unlikely to have any Honor Hold or Thrallmar rep.
Wrath of the Lich King Patch 3.2.0 (2009-08-04): Mount Changes
-
Apprentice Riding (Skill 75): Can now be learned at level 20 for 4g. Mail will be sent to players who reach level 20 directing them to the riding trainer.
-
Journeyman Riding (Skill 150): Can now be learned at level 40 for 50g. Mail will be sent to players who reach level 40 directing them back to the riding trainer.
IIRC It does, depending if you’re H or A and the way you progress the reputation with them, like for example Honor Hold is in Hellfire, the epic fly skill goes down to 4250g at exalted.
Im not 100% sure correct me if i’m wrong.
You have to buy cold weather fyling tho which costs 2k iirc
I think it 1K iirc
Basic flying mounts will be 150% flying speed.
Yes it cost 1k and i think cata was it 500g
We no need things to become cheaper with all these gold in game, inspead would be maybe good to increase prices so ppl need to spent bought gold.
And Blizzard… pls start to take bot and gold sellers more seriously, game is already ruined, in WotLK will be completely destroyed if you do nothing.
Correct. technically it doesn’t get cheaper but there will be flying trainers in Thrallmar / Honor Hold and their rep will adjust the price. At exhalted you get a 20% reduction so will go down to 4k for the riding, reason the trainer moves there is that first skill of flying should be available at level 60. (if memory serves correctly) And CWF is 1k, unsure if it will be BoA in the start or not, since that was introduced much later in wrath, but was able to be sent to an alt and use at lvl 68. That i guess we will find out in beta.
the daily quest limit is 25 right now, I don’t remember it being more than 10 for the majority of TBC.
It’s much easier to get the gold from dailies now.
I think level 68 was patch 4.03 you can learn it at level 77 when wotlk comes
