I tried everything on Blizzard support :

  1. [Try closing background applications]to resolve any software conflicts.

  2. [Reset your user interface] to make sure your files and addons are not corrupted.

  3. Run the [repair tool ] to repair any damaged game files.

  4. [Run ScanDisk and defragment your hard drive] to try to repair any bad sectors.
Note: Do not defragment a Solid State Drive (SSD).

  5. [Run a security scan] to remove any viruses or malware infections.

  6. [Update your drivers] to resolve any compatibility issues.

But nothing.

Hey Hexabyte,

I can’t see to find the crash log, did you submit that? If you did, can you post the crash report ID for me, so Ic an have a look into the full log?

In addition to that, please post your System Files so we can have a closer look into this. Please go through the steps listed here, and create both the MSInfo and DxDiag files. Post them on a page like Pastebin.com or share directly with us through OneDrive. Post the links here afterwards, so we can have a look.

Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!

Hello Hexabyte,

Did you tried updating Windows? According to your System Information, your last update is from November 2015. Support for this version has expired almost a year ago.

Please make sure to install the latest updates from Microsoft before trying again.

Yesterday, it was up and running i don’t think it’s because of my System Update.
But i will try.

I fixed the problem without the system update.

Hey mate i have same issue , how did u fixed it ?

I had the same issue. With the hotfix from today they made the game to launch with directx 12 by default. On my system witch a Nvidia GTX 970 this leads to this crash. I updated to the new driver version 417.35, but this was no solution. Then i forced the game to launch in directx 11 by adding -d3d11 as command line argument in the launcher and got the game running. I checked with -d3d12 and got the crash.

I changed the settings of wow.exe and made it run as Windows 7.
I can’t explain more since my Windows is in french.

Hi there i just had the same issue, right after i decided to reinstall the game yesterday. It gave me the the same ERROR #132. Im with the lates nvidia drivers and Win 10. The workaround with compatability as Windows 7 works just fine for now, i guess its some kind of DX12 issue.

Yep that’s what i did and it work fine.
